1/ How about with NAPALMED? All is O K. here. I've started NAPALMED in the middle of `94 as noise project/band/unit. We used two basses, drums and my voice in the beginning. We tried to make pure noise only, but we sounded like impromptu-harsh-noise core band, what we don't want. So we've stopped using of musical instruments. (1999/CD master 7., unreleased) 3/ What has moved to you to make this kind of sounds? I like music at all, but only to listen to. I m too lazy to learn play instrument or to learn musical theories. Because I'm always looking for the most extreme sounds [from rock-metal-core to noise], I ve tried to made some of these sounds by myself. By the time I feel the pure-loud-abstract noise is the only/right for me. 4/ What do you want to transmit with your sounds? Nothing more than show creativity, driven by our feelings. We have not a concept or something like that. I only try to do strangest, loudest sounds/noises in maximal possible quality. 5/ Which are your influences, if do you have some? Yes, we have. Everybody is influenced by all around us. Everyone is under influence of nature & civilization elements. Same as we are. If you mean musical influences, so I'm under press of japanese artists like GEROGERIGEGEGE, MASONNA, INCAPACITANTS, OUTERMOST, PAINJERK, FACIALMESS, ... & other extreme experimental artist all over the world. 6/ Other projects (generally)... Beside own noise unit NAPALMED I lead small distribution NAPALMED, which deals with grindcore, brutal death metal, crust, punk, jazz, etc. & of course with noise, industrial, experimental, etc. I run small label NAPALMED too. (CD compilation, noise/industrial/experimental) These three activities take me all free time. 7/ What do you try to achieve with ANOMALOUS SILENCER? How was the before ones? How about the bit one? Main idea was to release something together with friends I was/am in contact for a long time. Because of to release a CD is too expensive for one person, A.S. CD compilation series was meant to be a self-paid item by all participants. Be sure it isn't simple to find artists with interest in that project. More than 1000 people per item were invited, but only about 20 answer me. Thanx to all of them!!!!! 8/ What do you think about people that say industrial/noise/experimental (and similiars) are shit? Don't you think people in the underground scene are not very much receptive to get this kind of sounds? I don't care what people say about n/ind/exp/... I like to listen to these, same as to different kinds of music. NAPALMED creates sounds, which are available for people with possible interest, nothing more. I don't care if somebody don't like experimental scene. Find your own interest. BE YOURSELF! 9/ What do you think about: MERZBOW, GODFLESH, techno music, spanish undeground scene? MERZBOW: one of the oldest, still active units. Maximal NOISE in maximal quality. Each release of them is great. I have more than 50 items in my collection. GODFLESH: I listen to them long time ago, but I didn't like them at all. I have only their "Pure" CD in my collection. Only this one don't bore me. techno music: Very large, but not unknown area to me. I love SCORN, SYMPATHY NERVOUS, MASSIVE ATTACK, FUTURE SOUND OF LONDON, DRAIN, EC8OR, ALEC EMPIRE,ATARI TEENAGE RIOT, KLF, ORBITAL, SPOOKY, DJ KRUSH,... I know cool UG artists too: KGB [Gre], HERMAFRODIT [Cze], GEEST! [Hol], ... spanish UG scene: not well-known to me, but I'm in contact with some pals there. 10/ How about the underground scene in your country? Many metal/core bands here in Czech Republic. Many of them grow much better & better. Not problem to release good produced demo or CD here if you have money. Some cool independent labels, about 40 `zines, many gigs, active guys too. So what we could want more? 11/ What are your favourite movie? And book? I like B-horror movies, czech `70/`80s commedies. I collect japanese all sorts movies. Very bad situation with books. I don't read too much, sometimes Bukowski, Danniken, ... 12/ Say what you want... Nothing more to say. Who is interested in noise or in NAPALMED write me. I'm CD & condoms [not used] collector.
