TRIPALIUM http://go.to/tripalium www.geocities.com/rgmores Roel Mores ; 081 Paradahan 1, Tanza ; 4108 Cavite ; Philippines 01. Hello Radek, what's been happening with the band since the release of Never Mind…? 02. You've sent out a lot of promos of that CD to zines and that includes numerous metal zines. What are the reactions like from those who haven't had the chance to listen to Napalmed before, particularly from the metal editors? 03. So far most of the harsh electronics bands that I knew only has one or two members but Napalmed has four. Can you tell me who handles what during the live session? 04. I find it hard to imagine that such noise can be played live, what usually happen when you're playing live? Any improvisation? Are you trying to make the exact soundscapes that you have on your releases? 05. You've had countless releases since the band's inception but personally of all the bands that you've done splits and collaborated with, who do you think are among the best and most creative? 06. You also have plenty of unreleased recordings, among them are some splits, has anyone showed interest in any of those stuffs yet? 07. Many consider Merzbow as gods of harsh electronics and you've made split CD with him. Have you had the chance to get in contact with him? What can you say about him and the kind of noise that he makes? 08. Aside from Merzbow, you're very much fascinated by Japanese artists who are into unconventional crafts, what is it that you find very interesting about Japanese artists? 09. Napalmed never limits itself into just harsh electronics, one reason why you are very much involved in metal/grind scene. Doesn't it confuse the listener that in one release you're doing industrial noise and harsh electronics in the next one? 10. Lately most of your releases deal mainly with harsh electronics. Nay chance of reverting back to your noise years? Why did you drop all the usual instruments in favor of just about anything "handy"? 11. Have you ever tried playing an acoustic set? How was it like? 12. I think harsh electronic has relatively small but close network that's a bit tough to penetrate? Will you tell us how it's like to be in this community? How does other bands treat on another? 13. One thing that I noticed on your compositions is the number of acoustic sounds and I think that made you different from others. Will you tell us more about your creations? 14. Who would you consider to be the forefather of this genre? Do you have any idea how long harsh electronics have been around? 15. Aside from the band you also have a label and distro with the same name, only a different logo. Tell us more about Napalmed, the label/distro. 16. And you're also a graphic artist and I must add that the cover of Never Mind… is really cool. It has a strong 70's feel into it? Very much of a substance-induced color scheme. Do shed some light to some of your graphical creation. Do you do some other things aside from collage art? 17. How is the harsh electronics scene in Czech Republic? Will you tell us some other bands that you personally like from there? 18. What about from the rest of the globe, any bands that you can recommend? 19. I know you're in touch with Jason of Mandarangan Recordings. What can you say about the guy, his band Insomnia and his label? Whose idea is it to do a split with Insomnia? 20. That's it for me. Thanx for your time and patience and best of luck with Napalmed.
