Here I've got "Noise" promotape from Czech, those of you are familiar with Merzbow, Masonna, Incapacitants, Macronympha, Skin Crime, Kazumoto Endo, also Ames Sanglantes etc will know what to expect here, I think this promo attempt to exploring the world of 'Noise' by making different recording experimental industrial by using sounds sources such a metal with feedback noise sounds and so on. In this split EP just used sounds of distortions, effects, feedbacks, metalsheets, also various objects, with less vocals in this tape even without any vocals, but the main idea is to propose more various noise things without vocals of course. Napalmed develops a real world in the music with playing a noise , no synth and guitar on this tape!, they rarely used that equipment surely, worth checking out of promotape that i ever received! only for noise huge fans!!!

SHRUNKEN & MUMMIFIED #4 (Hungary, summer 2002)
This 90-minute-long promo-tape contains Napalmed's split 7:EPs on the side A, while on B we can hear a live performance (17.2.2001). To tell you the truth, I found NAPALMED's noise too much in this ammount. It is O.K. to listen to it as a 7", but it becomes tiresome when you get it all at one time. For some minutes it is interesting how Napalmed plays with the noises, tries or ignores to make different, mostly mechanical sounds arrange into harmony or disharmony, though I definitely can't put it under any musical categories as it can only by goodwill be called music. I am aware that it has fans as well, and for them Napalmed might bring delightful minutes. As for the live recording, it sounds for me quite the same, but I can't even imagine what differencies ih has to have comparing to studio sessions. Well, being not an expert in this genre, I leave the judgement of Napalmed's work for you by giving the address, where you can contact with it.
