Well constructed noisy/industrialish experimentations recorded in march/august 01 (1st tape "misch masch miksasch") and more noisy but really astounding in the way created the 2nd one (never mind the msbr.), that if you're into the genre then it is a necessity to check out this project's soundworks! Its not music, according to Radek one of the members of this shit, it can be named: noise, me anything didn't know about this style and what these Czech present us really is not of my but minimum pleasure, only noises and more noises without rhythm, circa of 90 min. of shit, 45 min. are about a guy speak in Czech language where I dont knows that he say, non samplers, non keys, non guitars, non drums, is not anything pure antimusic their unique instruments (if them can be called this way) are: plastic bags, plates, metal objects, cords and a without end of objects, I think that my 1 year-old niece and me would make something similar if this of the noise is this way I believe that anything is not interesting, a session of flatulences would be better that it don't believe me hahaha? 3 / 10 Dark angel (Miguel Salinas Castro) __________________________________________________ AVERSIONLINE (USA, march 2002) > http://www.aversionline.com "Misch Masch Miksasch" was recorded by one person, this time using various odd sound sources such as plastic bags, pots, glass plates, tin cans, steel rings, etc. Again, everything is very minimal with only one layer in most cases, perhaps two to three at best. The tracks can be easily discerned here, but they're still too long and too plain. There's no need to repeat the same thing for 10+ minutes when two to three minutes would easily suffice. "Roomfullscapes" is definitely the best piece, it's way shorter than everything else, and nice ambient drones are created using simply cable cords and effects. All of the material here on both releases is just too minimal and one-sided. Everything is improvised, so there is no structure, nothing seems intentional. The recordings are very lo-fi, which is fine, an effort is made to clearly state that no digital recording devices or traditional instruments were used. It's weird because I have the package for one cassette, and the insert from another, and only part of the recorded material for each (though most of the "Misch Masch Miksasch" cassette is present) - not the best way to submit material for review. All of the artwork is xeroxed with basic text and abstract imagery. I do love the logo though, it looks like a death metal band logo or something. This just isn't really something I can listen to very easily. A lot of the material seems like something that anyone could do, and nothing strikes me as creative or anything. Sorry. NAPALMED is a good example of why I can easily appreciate this form of extreme music, and anyone who's been in the scene should have heard at least something about them by now, as they are very active and supportive of the underground scene in general. This was my first listen. I expected very abrasive sounds, but as this music is so full of surprises and bound by no musical guidelines, I'll do my best to account my experience. It was subtle, in a kind of eerie but almost soothing way. It managed to work its way to flow with my mentality and, as good music/sounds tend to, it invoked a mood. I could think straight and enjoyed all 4 tracks to the end; it's the kind of thing I'd like to listen to whenever I need to broaden my mentality. Happy music? Not at all but it didn't send my senses into a barbaric rage as my beloved gore grind always does! Being open to new mental states, this is a good one, it's enlightening, would I be a total retard to say that it almost has a sophisticated sound? I think it's because it's manifested from the heart and follows no guidelines, as good noise should. Which probably explains the way it manages to settle into your mind and flow with the brainwaves. Imagine a kind of sound as that opening sequence of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", you remember those weird noises? I have no idea how it's made, but the bizarre noise scapes are hypnotizing. By the fourth track it's got me totally in the vibe and I'm taken further along the journey as it makes a transition to more severe and harsh sounds with no warning, but you have no choice but to go with it. I recommended this to pretty much anyone with an open mind. You will hear samples, loops of sound. They remind me of Malaysian GORB on their "Sink" demo. I only like some part, especially the dark sounding one. I guess their recording studio must be clattered with junk and broken pottery after recording this. The small insert states that this was recorded without any computers or even a mix-board. This is noise going back to basics. The first track "slatemic sounds" is kind of laid back clattering of various junk items and it moves slowly forward with some almost silent parts. I discovered that ordinary sounds in my home blended in nicely like the sound of my coffee machine. The following tracks are also quite calm even though they sometimes have more intense moments. I feel that this is way too calm for me but I am not saying that everyone should sound like Merzbow or Incapacitants. It would however be nice to get more intensity into this. Ambient noise has never been to my liking and it feels like "M. M. M." is a bit too close to it for comfort. I liked the more experimental noise found on side A (Never mind the MSBR, ...). This is probably most interesting for fans of Richard Ramirez and Murder Corporation. Tracks belong to the lesser-noisy-rhythmic-and-ambient part of Napalmed which is the one I like. Played separately, the four over-10-minutes tracks manage to remain entertaining all the way long (except track 4, usual classical noise, fast forward); metal percussions, random everyday-life objects and effects used here giving the tracks a genuine live/improvised atmosphere and making them really special. Best is first track, simple metal percussions and effects, a must have for you Einstürzende Neuebauten fans. There’s even a power-electro/dark-ambient track called ‘roomfullscapes’ that manages to keep the noise under control for a really convincing result. Mystery is despite me liking of most material featured here, I could never listen to the whole album in a row. Maybe my sort attention span is to blame here. Tahleta nová kazeta má veselý tábornický obal a tuším, že kdyby tuhle kazetu slyšel celou třeba takovej Honzík Nedvědů tak by se asi zbláznil a prchl se svou družkou kytarou do hlubin své rezidence – pardon lesa. Názvy skladeb jsou jednoduše udány délkou jednotlivých sonických kompozic a tak se na ně pojďme mrknout. „13:31“ je neobvykle klidnou záležitostí. Jestliže často NAPALMED připomínají fabriku tak tentokrát je to hodně klidná dílna. Hodně zvuků se mi jeví jako by třeba v kole byla zaražená železná tyč a třískala o výplet. A všichni víte co dělá, když dáte do špic kola plastikový kelímek od hořčice a rozjedete se. Podobné, jen extrémnější zvuky mi znějí z rozjezdovky této MC. Berte to samozřejmě z rezervou a s tím, že do toho leze kupa jiných šramotů, hluků a ruchů. Třeba jako by někdo jezdil železnou tyčí po pletivu, nebo používal nějaký starý výsuvný žebřík s ještě starším rumpálem ha ha. To „5:42“ je už o něco šílenější. Působí tak nějak zlomyslně. Jako by jste šli opravovat nějaký starý ventil v temném plesnivém sklepě. Všude uchází pára a vy jen čekáte až něco někde ustřelí a vletí vám přímo do huby. Nic pěkného. Závěr první strany obstarává „11:56“. Ohavný potok ocelových červů se šine kupředu a likviduje vše co mu přijde do cesty. Červíci se vám pěkně zavrtávají do hlavy a vězte, že jestli Paralenem zaženete bolest hlavy tak touhle skladbou bolesti hlavy naopak zaručeně dosáhnete. Ke slovu se dostane snad i pilník či hopsání na starém křesle s vymlácenými pružinami. „3:37“ začíná dokonce rytmicky. Že by znuděný dělník flákač v pracovní době tloukl do svého stroje – chlebodárce - ve snaze napodobit své rockové idoly? V závěru si k tomu ještě drze snaží naladit rádio... „11:51“ člověka seznámí s různými druhy pilníků, nějaká to foukání do duté ocelové tyče, nějaké to škrábání, tření – prostě pohoda. Poslední „13:45“ je konečně trochu větší nářez. Párání, trhání, tahaní železných skříní po plechové podlaze, různé tlaky. The only point to complain is that their compositions are a bit too monotonous and suffer from a lack of complexity. 4 tracks contain interesting, cold sequences and atmospheres, but it all sound too simple! Anyway, their brutal sounds are okay, but this band has definitely to concentrate on more ingredients in their work. Mad Sister (Merje Lőhmus) __________________________________________________ GOTHCORE (Holland, 07-11-01) > http://www.gothcore.nl Nou houdt ik best wel van bands die het experiment volop durven aan te gaan, maar wat de Tsjechische band Napalmed hier doet kan ik beslist niet begrijpen. In een kleine drie kwartier horen we vier nummers voorbij komen en vooral de eerste drie nummers zijn niet om aan te horen. Normale muziek komt er niet voorbij, het enige wat je hoort is continu irritant gekraak in de speakers. In het vierde nummer is nog wel iets terug te vinden wat op een gitaar lijkt, maar veel stelt ook dat niet voor. Het heeft me dan ook een grandioze moeite gekost om 'Misch Masch Mikasch' van begin tot eind te beluisteren, even heb ik nog geprobeerd om een tweede luisterbeurt te wagen, maar halverwege werd het mij toch echt te veel. Ik begrijp best wel dat je als band experimenteren wil, en er zal misschien ook wel een beperkte doelgroep zijn die op dit soort geklooi zit te wachten, ik kan er helemaal niets mee en ik kan me ook niet voorstellen dat er iemand is die hier wel op zit te wachten... Ik vraag me dan ook af in hoeverre ik een dergelijke band als Napalmed serieus moet nemen, het zal in ieder geval wel erg moeilijk worden om hiermee een fatsoenlijk platencontract binnen te halen. Er is echter wel heel wat lef voor nodig, om iets dergelijks als 'Misch Masch Mikasch' op te nemen en het vervolgens ook nog durven uit te brengen... The first two songs are from Misch masch mikasch, and really I must say, I think it's terrible. It's very annoying and I totally don't like it. The last two songs are from another demo, which is called Never mind the MSBR, but they are not much better. But finally we do hear something in the last song which sounds like a guitar, but it's not much. I've heard both sides of the tape, which wasn't easy at all, I even tried to listen to it a second time, but I just couldn't do it. I do understand that a band is experimenting and trying to find their own sound, and perhaps there's an audience for this type of music, but I just don't like listening to it and I wonder if there's a record company out there who is waiting for this kind of music. But I must say one thing, it sure takes some guts to record something like the Napalmed did here. It's not music, it's not even anti-music (that's what I supposed it would be) - it's one splendid experiment, done just for the sake of it. Well, when a person is doing such kind of performances for years, it's already a mania, an illness. Most naturally the same can be uttered about crazy Metalheads playing the same shit for twenty years and more, but well - one thing is to look at it as a part of your own surroundings, and another matter is to experience something completely new. Well, let me put it like this: I don't like power electronics and death industrial, and this has nothing to do with those, but I'd rather visit a live show of Massona than listen carefully to Napalmed. It is very disturbing and it pressures the brain. Seems like those chaotic sonic-scapes are harmless and there is no main line in them, yet to endure almost one hour of this is beyond my abilities. I guess I'm not used to such experiences, and everything I receive now is disturbing sounds of Metal and plastic bags' scratching (thanks to Radek, he has written down what is going on there), loop noises, factory decibels and manipulation of all that data. Where is the key to get a point on all this? Of curse there is plenty of space for imagination, the listener can free his mind, but to really open new dimensions one must be out of this world by himself. Huh. There is a drastic moment on this tape, as the two last tracks are much more violent and extreme, involving intensified use of noises and less of various scraping. It gets closer to power electronics, indeed. I don't know if the intention was like I thought it, but it sounds as if the performer would want to end with all toss around, and rather attack with full force. Last but not least, volume has an important part in the process: the louder you consume it, the harsher it eats you from inside. It literally sounds like everything is random, and they recorded this just for the sake of recording. Nothing interests me on this album. I found myself fast forwarding though the majority of this tape. The only reason why they even got a rating is because it's experimental, and I had to give them credit for that, otherwise it was a waste of my time. 5 / Metal Jeff (Jeffrey D. In addition to that, this band has a very underground attitude, which is not so common anymore in this style of music… so Napalmed is really worthy of your interest, and if they end up signing with a label or getting a better distribution, it’s quite likely they’ll please most of the industrial freaks. 7 / 10 Thomas Bonnicel __________________________________________________ MOONLIGHT SHADOWS (Greece) Metal, mics, cable cords, MD sample, plastic bag, glass plate, pot, tin can, springwashers, circlips, retaining rings, steel O-rings… are the "instruments" that were used at the recording of this MC. Obviously, we are dealing with something different over here. Indeed, its uniqueness makes it worthy of your attention, because you can't listen to similar music somewhere else. It is extremely difficult to imagine under which circumstances the recording took place (I can only say that it was manipulated and mixed at his living room) but the result is something that we should approach in a completely different way. Do not expect sentimental solos, thundering riffs or aggressive breaks. Moreover, you should forget the word "music", because in my estimation this is unlike the rest of the stuff reviewed here. We are dealing with "cold" sounds, that are repetitive creating a frightening, claustrophobic atmosphere. The best soundtrack for a futuristic horror film! The reason for this might be the live metallic rhythm which were performed and recorder live at factory. Anyway, it is interesting to hear how those noises are combined, and despite being an underground release it has no signs of amateurish in it. You might think that it will sound boring, but if you are curious enough to buy this MC (i.e. you are keen on such things) you will find it an out-of- ordinary release that will keep awake through all it's length. To be blunt, it isn't something I will listen to regularly, but I am amazed by its inspiration and mood. The duration of the songs is, naturally, long and I couldn't distinguish any. Radek will be more than happy to reply to your letters or emails… and do not forget to ask him about his other underground activities. Fuck…I couldn't make a more precise review. As I commented before Radek likes to combine sounds and mix them in certain ways where they get coherence and structure and then develope it as a musical piece. This is a more ambient and calm album compared to Never Mind the MSBR (which I commented before). The main element here is experimentation, so if you are not afraid of that check this release. Il promo arrivato a NIHIL comprende le ultime due reallizzazioni della band. Iniziamo. Immaginate una enorme macchina da guerra simile a quella della copertina di "Rrroooaaarrr" dei voivod, immaginate di guardarla con l'obbiettivo di distruggere tutto cio che vi circonda e di non lasciare intatto nemmeno un mattone: queste sono le immagini che evoca l'harsh industrial di "Never.". Non potrete non divertirvi (e lasciarvi scappare un ghigno di soddisfazione) ascoltando questo potente lavoro che comunque rimane sempre su frequenze pacate ed ovattate come se appunto stiate sentendo, dall'intereno del vostro cingolo, il fragore della distruzione che state provocando. Indossate quindi la mimetica, gli anfibi e delle buone cuffie; all'attaco! "Misch Masch Mischmasch" e un lavoro composto da quattro brani di varia natura ed e piu isolazionista. Il primo brano ("Slatemic Sounds") e composto da lievi suoni percussivi metallici effettati e campionati che possono dare l'idea di una costruzione in bilico che potrebbe improvvisamente crollare; "No Name" e composto da suoni di microdistruzioni su un sottofondo noise; "Roomfullscapes" e composto da drones creati con dei feedback e con modulazioni; "Hey Saroy, show me your guts!" e pura power electronics sanguinosa. Well i think that was a guitar. You can listen a kind of riffs that give the effect of a guitar "player" on a construction area with Dozers and all the noise.. Well I let you make your opinion, but to me this has no interest and I can't imagine how you can listen that.. Rudy Akatosh __________________________________________________ NUCLEAR ABOMINATIONS (Italy) I don't know if I'm the best to describe such stuff as the one contain herein, but I will try. Call me masochist, but I tend to like this obsessive, noise only stuff. It is the ultimate minimalist stuff, stripped of every resemblance to any kind music you can desperately try to grab to feel safe. Combined in the right pattern, noise can give you emotions, steal your breath, raise your heartbeat. The first song in this NAPALMED tape substantially brings you to the verge of suicide. It's kind of distant, eerie and melancholic, with a background fuss which reminds me of a thin rain falling on glistening concrete metallic clacking and tedious tickling add the background for what is like a huge rasping breath which come and goes in waves. There are lots of "instruments" used here, if you want to call them that way, which add variety to the music with a plethora of different sonorities. At times the sound grows to be a bit more like heavy boots pummeling the ground, at times it's just like hearing your TV fizzling out of tuning. The curious thing about this demo is that it DOESN'T sound electronic at all even if made mainly with keyboards and percussions, it just don't involve techno beats or stuff you can picture when thinking of a noise band. It's just NOISES, arranged to create arabesques like a sculpture made of pipes and black sewer stones, not of dazzling circuitry if you know what I mean. Oh well, time for me to go to sleep. Michele Toscan __________________________________________________ NOISE MASTER #10 (Česká republika, 1/2002) Rejdio se opět překonal a stvořil velice relaxační pohodovku. Šest kompozic, které si může vyslechnout během cca. 60 minut (já mám nějakou zkrácenou verzi?!), vás musí opravdu uklidnit, kromě poslední věci, která je již více posazena do harsh noise. Kompozice nemají názvy, ale to nevadí. I obal bude pravděpodobně co kus to originál. První věc [Slatemic sounds]: Jdete na procházku okolo plotu z pletiva a v ruce držíte slabou železnou tyčku, kterou přejíždíte o zmíněný plot. Je to opravdu slsušná procházka, navíc doplněná o několik smyček a ruchů, jako byste byli někde ve velké kovové nádobě... Druhá věc [Roomfullscapes]: Sedíte si pěkně v klídku v místnosti vysokého napětí a každou chvíli se okolo udělá zkrat. Asi takhle cítím tuto záležitost. Třetí věc [No name]: To jste pro změnu byli na návštěvě u domorodých afrických kmenů a stále tam pršelo, nebo jste byli navštívit nějakého pastevce (to ty zvonky). Čtvrtá věc [Rhythmess]: Krátká, ale velice dobrá. Je to takové skandování na fotbale (no, mnohem lepší, na to se dá dobře tancovat i mlátit palicí), opravdu dobře udělané a opět využité železné tyčky. Pátá věc [No name (randomix)]: Tak to jste někde ve vysoké trávě, krásně si poleháváte a ten cvrkot okolo vás je tato záležitost, samo sebou tu jsou i jiné ruchy, např. jako byste po někom flusali, ale je to opravdu relaxačka. Šestá věc [Hey Saroy, show me your guts]: Tak to jste si vyrazili za bouřky na procházku, ale byla tak silná, že jste skončili u rodiny Napalmedů v obývacím pokoji a za návštěvu dostanete placku NAPALMED. >Š< (Jirka Klomfar) __________________________________________________ PLAGAT (Česká republika, 11.08.2003) > http://www.plagat.cz Hudba vytvořená bez pomocí počítačů, keyboardů, samplerů nebo dalších hudebních nástrojů. Myšleno těch tradičních hudebních nástrojů. Napalmed, jednočlenný projekt severočecha Radka Kopela, vydal CD s názvem Misch Masch Miksasch. Myslím povedené dílko a důkaz, že u nás je dobré hudby ještě víc, než by se čekalo. Dostalo se mi do rukou CD, které je pro mne zvláštní. Zvláštní zejména v použitých nástrojích, díky nimž vznikly určité melodie co pospojovány navzájem do sebe vytvořily hudbu. Na tom by možná na první pohled nebylo zase nic až tak zvláštního, kdyby se tu na místech hudebních nástrojů neobjevily například igelitové tašky, skleněné desky, hrnce, zvonky či kabelové šnůry. Zdánlivě všední věci kolem nás o kterých většinou nepředpokládáme, že by se mohly stát prostředkem jak jimi vytvořit hudbu a skrze ně se pokoušet takto oslovit okolí. Tohle album ze severních Čech, pod nímž je jako autor podepsán Radek Kopel, se o to pokusilo. A já si myslím, že celkem úspěšně. Je na něm 6 skladeb a jako celek působí dost vyváženým dojmem. Za všechny bych jmenoval třeba Randomix úpravu skladby No name nebo asi nejtvrdší Hey Saroy, show me your guts! či spíše poklidnou Roomfullscapes. Jsem si vědom, že komu se toto album dostane do ruky a poslechne si ho, může být možná poněkud šokován jeho obsahem. Pořád tu něco šustí, praská, kvílí atd. Nicméně pokud hledáte v hudbě neustále něco nového(netradičního) pak Napalmed je myslím přesně něco pro vás. mailto:aspylakopa@x-ko.cz aspylakopa (Michal Jakubínský) __________________________________________________ ROCKSHOCK 12/2003 (Česká republika, 2.9.2003) > http://www.rockshock.cz Tak tahle věc je pro zaryté milovníky experimentálního industrialu, kteří si rádi nechají kypřit svá sluchová čidla různorodými elektro ruchy a samply, jejichž kompozice je na první (často i druhý...) poslech bez hlavy či paty. Takových jedinců sice není mnoho, nicméně myslím si, že tenhle projekt si za svou existenci rozhodně stihl najít své příznivce. Takové, co si lebedí v podobných 'dirty' záležitostech jako jsou Merzbow, Jan Delay apod. První tři songy se táhnou v jakési stereotypní náladě, ale s trochou trpělivosti se dají vyposlechnout. Čtvrtá skladba Hey Saroy, Show Me Your Guts! je hodně v duchu totální distorze a dosavadním událostem na CD dává nový nádech. Pětka dokonce přináší náznaky melodie (i když jen v tónech beatů). Následující závěrečná Roofullscapes je laděna ve stylu audio podkreslení k nějakému vyhoustlému psycho hororu. Ještě bych rád potencionální posluchače, kteří s Napalmed zatím nepřišli do styku, upozornil, aby opravdu neočekávali melodické pasáže. Pár minut poslechu vás z toho vyvede... Tehle styl má svá nepsaná pravidla a Napalmed se jich rozhodně drží - na druhou stranu vím, že při troše dobré vůle by šlo vyprodukovat i barvitější nahrávku. 3 / 5 Ondřej Muroň __________________________________________________ R.U.M. #12 (Česká republika, 7.7.2004) > http://mujweb.cz/www/rumzine Pán hluku, Radek Kopel nás pravidelně zásobuje nákladem svých "nahrávek". Už v několika starších recenzích jsem Radka chválil za jeho geniální přístup a zapálenost. Je skvělé, že se nezabývá jen výrobou řinčivého marastu, ale také podporuje ne až tak stylově spřízněné soubory... a že už se této záslužné činnosti věnuje pěkně dlouho! Ale pojďme k samotnému aktuálnímu dílku. Nádherný je samotný název céda... a ono vůbec i samotné tracky jsou nazvány jakýmisi slovními hříčkami. Tak třeba "Roomfullscapes", nebo "Hey Saroy, show me your guts!", někdy se při té zvukové smršti snažím vcítit do hlav a myslí samotných tvůrců a říkám si: "Na co asi přitom myslí?. Co si vlastně představují? Představují si podobné věci jako já?" Myslím, že to největší kouzlo tohoto "rambajsu" je v opravdové fantazii a já mám právě pocit, že si stejně každý musí představovat něco jiného...nepopsatelného...děsivého! Přesně podobně je na tom tenhle komplet. Pokud měl Radek období, kdy produkoval vcelku líbezné zvuky, tak tímhle diskem se vrátil někam zpět ke kořenům (výjimku tvoří první kus "Slatemic sounds", připomínající mastění šroubovákem o radiátor). Tohle je totiž šrotiště 22. století! Tedy samozřejmě v případě, jestli se toho naše modrá planeta dožije. Samotný jí to totiž snad raději ani nepřeji. A po poslechu tohoto armagedonu už vůbec ne. NAPALMED to je prostě zvuková malba a palba v jednom. Radek si naší redakci postupem doby docela slušně vychoval a tak všechny ty zvuky pobíráme docela s přehledem. To, co mi tedy považujeme za "normální noise", tak z toho by civilní obyvatelstvo asi zešílelo. Takže OK...Jen jednu menší výtku k tomuhle nadšenectví, nebo lépe řečeno k tomuto CD. Na můj vkus jsou některé tracky až moc dlouhé. Dvanáct minut to je fakt moc. Vím, že improvizace je improvizace, ale jestli z toho mám něco mít, tak se musím alespoň malinko soustředit.. Žel poslouchat ty dlouhé brutal fáze lze snad opravdu jen jednou... Ale i tak Radek zkouší všechno možné, tak mu to budeme přát! Thoase kids were obsessed to do (nearly) everything on their own. Recording, production, cover design, promotion were all done by the bands themselves. But, after the growing and tradization of the metal scene, this nice custom was suddenly dissapeared. At last, dug into the deep underground. And then, Napalmed is one of the projects which is totally D.I.Y. and totally underground. As we are hungry to the totally underground projects, we like it very much. But beyond from being an underground projects, I have more to say about it. The music is done with the things like cables, plates, etc. So, do not expects catchy guitar riffs and powerful vocal. Futhermore, it is emphasized in the cover that "No PC, keyboards, sampler, mix board, musical instruments". So we are faced with a different and weird project that totally imposible to reject. Napalmed is the connecting line of the proffesional music scene and the folks who cannot make anything apart from listening to. So, if you have cable cords, plates and lots of enthusiasm and the talent; perhaps you may form a band and record something. Well, the sounds you will hear was at first unexpected, weird and nonmelodic things. Probably, at first you will find it strange. And that's the point I like. I really hear lots of music made without musical instruments but simple things like trash bins, sticks, brooms. But, most important part why we spend so many lines on Napalmed is that, it does no melodic structure and no melodic base. So, the sounds you heard is hardly compose and tidy image in your mind, and you will have to spend some time to identify this image. So, tha's the point. I really don't care if you will interested or not; but the folks follows the deep underground had already got the message. On side A are 4 tracks. All the sounds are created without any music instrument but with metals, mics, plastics bags, glass plates, cable cords, tin can, springwashers, circlips,.... . The first track are some metals tinckeling and sounds very releaxing. After this 13 minutes track they used some more distortion and in the second track there is also some rhythm used. Except in the distorted parts the sound is always very clear and very good recorded. Opakování je opravdu matka moudrosti... a kdo ví - možná mě Radek Kopel ze zbojnické družiny Napalméďa jen zkouší a posílá dokola ty samé tituly... HAHA.. No jelikož už máme doma snad 20 různých promo nahrávek těchto killers, tedy zabijáků, a jelikož rozpoznat je od sebe není zas tak snadný úkol - možné je všechno.. Každopádně tu o jeho šílenostech budu psát, neboť on si zkrátka podporu zaslouží.. i když vím, že se to asi mine účinkem.. Tenhle MIŠ MAŠ tedy obsahuje 6 věcí.., tentokrát jde z větší míry o pískání, dunění a kvílení.., pak mi to připadne jako kdyby buď hrabala nějaká krysa.., nebo hrobník?? No čert ví... Indeed this must be what we call XP Noise, or Experimental Noise. Indeed, guys from NAPALMED play all their songs with instruments such as cable cords, plastic bag, glass plate, eggcutter, retaining rings, home-made metal guitar, etc. Yeah, I know that's rather strange. but I must say that even if I'm totally not into this "music", this is rather interesting and cool to listen. Obviously, a lot of you won't like of what NAPALMED is about, but they deserve a minimum of support, even if that's not Brutal Death Satanic Gore Metal. The A side contains 4 songs of almost 15 min each one, and the B side contains only 1 song for a running time of almost 45 min! Cool strange thing. Los checos Napalmed no se parecen a nada que haya oido antes, por lo que no te voy a poder compararlos con otros (cosa buena, no??). En su música no vas a poder encontrar ningun instrumento conocido, pues los que ellos usan son, por ejemplo: bolsas de plastico, platos de cristal, micros, metales varios, cestos de metal, etc...que posteriormente fueron manipulados mediante pedales de efectos y las propias grabadoras. Musicálmente rayan hasta la saciedad con sonidos producidos por tales "instrumentos", montando una cacofonía sonora, que puede ahuyentar a casi cualquiera, pero que dentro de todo ese supuesto caos, tiene algún tipo de estructura (y que conste que me costó encontrarla!!!!). Checz Napalmed are not similar to any band we know or heard before, so can´t compare them with nobody (is good thing, isn´t it??). On their you can´t seek any kind of known instruments, because the ones they use are, as example: plastic bags, glass plates, micros, tin cans, etc...that after were manipulated with the aid of effects pedals and the recorders. Musically talkin´ they´re so annoying with tthe sounds produced by those instruments, giving the listener a sonoric cacophony, that can frighten off anybody, but among that suposed chaos, has some kind of structure (I was searching for it many times!!!!).
