NAPALMED - Never mind the MSBR, here's the NAPALMED promo tape/CD __________________________________________________ &musiQ 8/02 (Česká republika) - CD Působí to takřka neuvěřitelně, ale CD s názvem parafrázujícím debut Sex Pistols, je skutečně prvním albem vpravdě už kultovní mostecké kapely, která se na scéně brutálního industriálního noise prosadila i za hranice. Radek Kopel totiž nespěchal a místo toho aby honem honem vydal album, které by nejspíš zapadlo - i když na něj kapela měla materiál už před pár lety, si pečlivě připravovala půdu. Nahrávky rozptyloval po kompilacích a splitech, ať už je vydával sám, nebo na ně jen přispěl svou tvorbou. Album nepřináší žádné překvapení: Napalmed na něm prezentují svůj styl, ovšem v té nejlepší formě. První z pouhých dvou skladeb, úvodní čtvrthodinová 'MRB ne MSBR' je noiseová, postavená na nestrukturovaných, prolínajících se hlucích a šumech, jejichž výška tónu je měněna pomocí pitch shifteru. Zajímavější je druhé, téměř hodinové 'Nemyslete na MSBR, tady je MBFR' s bohatší tektonikou. Strukturu vytváří delaye, skupina však nekončí jen u použití laciné elektroniky, tónových generátorů, efektů a přednatočených pásků. Rytmus zdůrazňuje hrou na železný šrot a zvuk obohacuje i preparovaná kytara nebo brnkání na kráječ na vajíčka. Jestliže úvodní skladba je trochu poplatná vzorům skupiny, ať už japonským nebo tuzemcům Suicidal Meditations, 'Nemyslete...' jasně ukazuje, že industriální noise nemusí být v žádném případě monotónní, nemusí končit u bílého šumu a jeho nálada se může měnit. A harsh noise quartet, Napalmed improvises harsh noise the analog way — no laptops involved. And honestly, since Merzbow has switched to digital, Kopel and friends rank among the best acts in this genre. They make an infernal racket of course, but there's something more than anger management at work here. They sculpt their improvisations with attention to detail and acute listening skills (which is not that easy to do when surrounded by all that noise). The two pieces on this album use dynamics wisely. Metal junk, mutated acoustic guitars, household objects (like a mean electric egg slicer), pedal effects, and the occasional demented scream form the basis of both pieces. The 15-minute "MBR Not MSBR" serves up the entrée. The main course is the 57-minute "Never Mind the MSBR, Here's the MBFR" (all those acronyms refer to the Japanese harsh noise project MSBR, but Napalmed's intention remains unclear). The four musicians keep changing the pace of the piece, preventing any dull moment. At its most frantic, the music recalls Government Alpha or the Haters, but its range of dynamics and expressiveness are definitely closer to analog-era Merzbow. Recorded live in the studio, this CD is meant to give an example of the group's live show. It was released in a limited edition of 1,000 numbered copies. Yet, they've surely kept their spontaneous Punk attitude to combust with this excellent underground release. Based in Lipova in the Czech Republic, Napalmed delievers a heavy dose of harsh noise. "MBR not MSBR" is a relentless and ear splitting track of white noize irruption , reminiscent of Old Europa Cafe releases such as Telepherique & K2 and HH9 blended with the blasphemous Japanoize mastermind Merzbow. Next are the almost 57 minutes of "Never mind the MSBR, here's the MBFR": scrapes and washes of industrialized noises leaning towards more experimental improvisations while using and abusing an eggcutter (!!!), iron scraps and home made acoustic guitars . the result is brilliant, almost hypnotic and proves once and for all that the D.I.Y approach is like a winning black horse. Tak bych jedním slovem popsal tuhle kazetu. Čteřice hlukově zaměřených človíčků, jež jsou dohromady známí pod jedním názvem - Napalmed, opět drtí mozky všech vyznavačů ticha. Dvojnásobná porce (56 minut) neotřelého noiseu, neboli hluku, je hrána na ty nejzvrhlejší nástroje a stroje. Můžete tu zaslechnout hru na staré harampádí, po domácku vyrobenou kytaru nebo dokonce jskousi řezačku vajíček (to nevím co to je). Kazeta je rozdělena na 2 části, z nichž jedna - "Never mind the MSBR, ..." je kompletně vyťukaná na kovové harampádí a druhá - "... here's the NAPALMED" je daleko více industriální, je více hlučná a má spoustu zvláštních zvuků, že člověku nezbývá jinak, než přemýšlet, který stroj to asi bude. I'm a little bit confused, because I received two full-length cassette releases for review on one 90-minute tape (one release per side). Clearly there is some material missing, as the first track from "Never Mind the MSBR, Here's the Napalmed" alone clocks in at well over the allotted 45 minutes that release is given here on side A. But anyway… "Never Mind the MSBR, Here's the Napalmed" was performed by four people using metal, homemade instruments, etc. There are lots of shuffling/banging noises and some bright string picking (which is sort of interesting). At times it gets harsher/darker with some distorted guitar loops and churning undertones. However, it's definitely sort of boring. It's just too much of the same thing for far too long (and keep in mind that I only have half of the release in front of me). It has its moments, but there's no need for the excessiveness. In-between Experimental, Noise and Indus, this combo composed of four "noisemakers", propelled itself into one of many recordings. This one is particular, since it's delivered in one piece. Once the machines get started, they don't ever stop and somehow, this is for the better because it allows us to better appreciate this genre. Despite the fact that we are far from Metal, it can be reminiscent of the things we often hear in intros or interludes. And in these contexts almost never irritate. NAPALMED have become a synonym for the Czech noise scene over the years they have been active, and still push the music forward. The tape offers two compositions of what I would call melodic noise. This is probably the first ever recording of the rank I can say I enjoy. The background noise as if represented some rhythm, sounds very heavy and industrial of course and then some metallic sounds other noises in the front, arranged like a normal music recording except with really werid instruments. This record (and most likely whole of NAPALMED work) are transcendental if the current period of humankind is considered. Mind you, original primeval music was also generated with tools and devices people knew from daily life. This is exactly it, grab the spring, pipe or a metal sheet at your factory, process it with an electrical appliance or computer - parts of our daily life arranged into sophisticated song structures. Der mir hier vorliegende Rundling fällt z.B. in diese Kategorie: Das Logo erweckte noch Erwartungen an eine Death-Metal-Gruppe, doch was sich dann feilbot, als ich die "Play"-Taste niederdrückte, war kaum zu beschreiben: NAPALMED machen Krach, sind nicht von dieser Welt und wollen auch gar nicht dazugehören. Zwei Songs in 72 Minuten sind für den Hörer angesichts des derben, spontan improvisierten heftigen Noise/Industrials wahrlich kein leichtes Unterfangen: Nerven aus Stahl benötigt man, um dieses Soundinferno an einem vorbeiziehen zu lassen. Die Tschechen sind in der tat nonkonform, wenden sich angeekelt vom Mainstream ab, von Songstrukturen, von traditionellen Instrumenten, es regiert der Meister Krach. Nachdem man die erste Viertelstunde Lärmorgie hinter sich gebracht hat, folgt eine 56-minütige Klangreise in die Welt NAPALMEDs. Mi Sicherheit gibt`s für derartige Klänge eine Klientel, doch ob das allzu zahlreich vorhanden ist, wage ich zu bezweifeln, zumal es eh sehr, sehr schwer ist, hier ein adäquates Urteil zu fällen. Mit wem will man `Never Mind...` denn vergleichen, wer macht den grössten Krach? Zumal ich mich in der Szene auch nicht allzusehr auskenne, kann man es mit HAUS ARAFNA z.B. doch ganz gut aufnehmen, natürlich in Sachen psychotischer, in den Wahnsinn treibender klanglicher Erzeugnisse aus einer scheinbar anderen Welt. Die Frage ist doch die, ob hier nicht unbewusst Partikel der Psyche und Persönlichkeit der Protagonisten mit einflossen. Doch vielleicht sitzen die grad zuhause und lachen sich darüber kaputt, welch abstruse Interpretationen seitens der Pressefritzen denn angestellt werden... Für Industrial/Noise-Fanatiker sicherlich ein gefundenes Fressen... Nie wiem jak nazwać te dźwięki - chyba - noise?! Niestety nie jestem w stanie tego strawić. Być może fani działu "Antimusic" z Thrash'em All'a" będą tym zainteresowani, ale nie ja. Dla mnie już samym koszmarem było przesłuchanie w całości materiału, a co mówić o słuchaniu dla przyjemności. Dźwięki NAPALMED to połączenie jakichś bliżej nieokreślonych szumów, pisków, trzasków o różnym natężeniu, częstotliwości i etiologii... Czasem jakbym słyszał dźwięk jakichś buczących transformatorów, innym razem silników spalinowych, czy dźwięki metalowych części. Wszystko to jest dla mnie za nudne i za monotonne. Owe dźwięki były stworzone przy pomocy metalowych rupieci, domowej roboty gitary akustycznej i "metalowej", innych mikrofonów i dziwnych efektów (jak podają)... Coś w tym jest, ale nie dla mnie. I do not know how to call these sounds - surely - noise?! Unfortunately I am not in a position this to digest. Maybe fans of " Antimusic" from Thrashing' em All Magazine" will be this interested, but not me. For me nightmare was listening in wholes of material, and what to speak about listening for pleasures. Sounds NAPALMED are connection some of nearer not definite noises, of squeaks, of cracks about different intensity, frequencies and aetiology... sometimes I would hear sound some booming of transformers, other time of internal-combustion engines, whether sounds metal - parts. All this is for me too boring and too monotonous. That sounds was created at help metal - pieces of junk, household work of guitar acoustic and "metal", of other microphones and of strange effects (as they give on the cover of tape)... something in this is but not for me. It begins with a noise like cutting metal. And this goes on for about 15 fucking minutes. The second track has a duration of 56.44 minutes and it is more diverse than the first track. Different sounds that create a rhythm. They say that there live performances are the same as on this disc and a re experiments in the spectrum of sound. It is cool to hear this record but I doubt if I will play it again very soon. You know I get a bit schizophrenic after these 73 minutes. Twan Sibon > http://www.brutalism.com __________________________________________________ BRUTAL VOMIT (Poland) - tape Szkoda, że w „BrutalVomit” nie ma rubryki „Antimusick”, czy innej takiej, bo czeski NAPALMED porusza się w klimatach industrial/harsh/noise. Materiał zawiera tylko dwa utwory tytułowe podzielone na dwie części, ale trwają one dość długo, by dostać bólu głowy lub przyswoić ten stuff. Eksperymenty Czechów nie są łatwe do przyswojenia, zwłaszcza dla mnie, kiedy z taką muzyką mam styczność raz na 100 lat, he, he. Nie jest to raczej nic podobnego do EINSTURZENDE NEUBAUTEN, czy innych, podobnych Niemcom klimatów, NAPALMED jest chyba bardziej radykalny w swoich poczynaniach. Raz motywy są „spokojne”, ciche, po czym następuje nasilenie hałasu aż do ekstremy i odwrotnie. Dobra, nie będę się mądrzył i strugał znawcy takich dźwięków, jeśli kogoś zainteresowałem (w co wątpię – sorry Radek ale to nie moja wina , he, he) to super, jeśli nie, to chyba nic nie szkodzi, bo to „muzyka” dla wybranych. Aha, dodam, że taśma, mimo, że wydana własnym sumptem posiada fajną, kolorową okładkę, he, he. Z obowiązku dodam jeszcze, że dzięki MERCILESS CORE REC. ukazała się taśma NAPALMED/MERZBOW limitowana do 500 kopii. Spousta z vás tohle hlučné těleso určitě zná, nebo o něm alespoň slyšela. Takže popisovat produkci zaznamenanou na této pásce by bylo asi nošením dřeva do lesa. I když ve stavu našich lesů by to zas tak marné nebylo... Tak stručně, z mého pohledu je Napalmed dost originální industriální noise těleso. V té přehršli zvuků a hluku se najde i jakási harmoničnost či melodie, takže to není jen nějaký bezduchý kravál. A to se mi na tom líbí nejvíc. Je tu zaznamenán materiál ze začátku letošního roku, který čítá kompozice ["56:44 (pt.I)/Never mind the MSBR..." a "56:44 (pt.II)/...here's the MBFR"]. Tyto byly zvěčněny v novém obsazení a brzo se objeví jako debutové CD. Takže se připravte na 72 minut superrachotu. Bury (Tomáš Baran) __________________________________________________ CARNIFICINA GRINDCORE (Brasil) - tape Isto aqui é o mais puro e verdadeiro noise, mas quando eu falo noise, eu me refiro ao sentido literal da palavra, esta fita, que tem uma excelente qualidade de gravaçao, traz 2 lados de 45 minutos completos de ruídos, barulhos, sons indecifráveis, realmente muito estranho. Tudo encaixado de uma forma perfeita e sem melodia alguma, e também numa sintonia, na maioria das vezes lenta, eu acredito que quase todos ruídos do mundo estao reunidos aqui. Se fosse uma banda com instrumentos normais como guitarra, baixo e bateria, seria uma ótima introduçao, mas a proposta da banda é justamente o barulho experimental ou como está descriminado no release noise/industrial/electronix/experimental. Tá certo que isto nao é algo para se ouvir no dia a dia, mas eu gosto muito deste tipo de som. A banda é formada por 4 pessoas e esta reunida desde 1994 e já fizeram mais de 30 apresentaçoes e lançaram também alguns split EPs e outras fitas. A fita ainda traz uma boa capa com arte feita em cores contendo todos os detalhes da gravaçao. Everything inserted in a perfect way and without some melody, and also in a syntony, most of the time slow, I believe that almost all noises of the world are gathered here. If it roots a band with normal instruments as guitar, low and battery, would be a great introduction, but the proposal of the band is exactly the experimental noise or as it is discriminated in the release noise/industrial/electronix/experimental. it is right that this is not something to hear day by day in the, but I like this sound type a lot. The band is formed by 4 people and this gathered since 1994 and they already did more than 30 live presentations and they threw also some split EPs and another stare. The ribbon still brings a good layer with art done in colors, containing all the details of the recording. Z borového háje se ihned přesouvám do železničního depa, kde to syčí a v dáli se ozývají ta správná železa z jakési kovárny. Určitě nejsem typ člověka, který by vyhledával podobný žánr. Celý život poslouchám hudbu bez rozdílu žánru, ale vždy jsem uznával jen takovou, kde je nějaký nápad. Jistě není jednoduché tyto zvuky vyrobit a nápadů je tu fůra. Zdá se, že tato nahrávka obsahuje ruchy, šumy a ostatní zvuky i pazvuky zaznamenané digitálně, takže vše zní docela čistě, ruchy nejsou zkreslené a celkově nahrávka působí svým zpracováním velmi profesionálně. Zaznamenat tuto industriální hudbu na vinyl však není vždy jednoduchou záležitostí. 100 let starý, mechanický záznam neumožňuje nahrát zvuk v plném kmitočtovém pásmu (tedy 20Hz - 20kHz) jako u digitálního záznamu. Nahrávka proto musí být omezena pod 40Hz kvůli možnému přeskakování přenosky. Ale i "nadupané" výšky by mohly způsobit poškození řezací hlavy, a proto jsou taktéž limitovány. Také protifáze, velká komprimace a velmi nízké kmitočty v nahrávce způsobují velké roztahování a hloubku drážek. Nahrávku potom nelze "řezat" v plné kvalitě na základní CU nosič (měděný nosič s ocelovou podložkou). Vyrobená vinylová deska je potom oproti originálu chudší jak na basy, tak i na výšky. Je proto lepší vyvarovat se extrémních výšek a nízkých kmitočtů již na originálu. Největší radost z této desky a vůbec z tvorby podobných skupin a vydavatelství, mají určitě Gramofonové závody (nyní Digital Media GZ Loděnice). Před 10 lety zaznamenala výroba vinylových desek těžký úpadek. Nástupem nových stylů v hudbě se tato výroba opět obnovila, především díky zájemcům ze zahraničí. A tak jsem byl svědkem toho, jak se starší soudruzi z obchodního oddělení, začali rychle učit anglicky a vesele "šprechtili" s mladíky v kožených bundách, protkanými špendlíky a s čírem na hlavě. Z továrny s největším procentem komunistů na okrese, se tak stala moderní firma západního stylu, a to i díky Radkovi Kopelovi a jeho vydavatelství NAPALMED. (Italy, 09.08.2002) - CD Despite the title which recall the first Sex Pistols' album, NEVER MIND THE MSBR has got nothing to do with punk music at all! Divided into two long tracks ("MBR Not MSBR" and "Never Mind The MSBR, Here's The MBFR") the CD contains seventy minutes of noise, screams and stuff. The first track isn't structured at all and it has got an "in your face" attitude, while the second one is more experimental and starts with distant delayed and reverbered drums with improvised concrete noises just to increase little by little during its fifty six minutes lenght, adding more noise and speeding up a little the rhythm which change time to time. Sonic anarchy seems to be the main Napalmed's target and this make of this CD an album for the lovers of extreme noise manipulations/improvisation. Too bad there's no writing support to their noise assault, this would been helpful for understanding the band's thoughts, because since I know they put a lot of economical efforts in releasing this CD I think they did it with a purpose... On the instrumentation angle it's a mix of junkish percussion, oil drums, shiny bits of stainless steel sparking as they are dropped onto sheets of flint, echoplex tape like delay fed to squeaky door hinges and uncomfortable overdrive pedals. Detuned bass is struck with who the hell the knows, bowed maybe and other than the most metallic material it is pretty hard to get the picture of the domestic refuse yard at the recycling depot out of mind. As said previously, this disc could hardly sound more outsider. At times it is a vocal free Nihilist Spasm Band and NOGGIN with home made pseudo instruments being thrown into a big pile and then promptly stomped on. What normal instruments are present (cymbals for one, guitar and/or bass for two) were probable not pawnable by the end of the sessions. Brutal free-noise splatter for fans of Borbetomagus, Incapacitants, Nautical Almanac and the like. Definitely not for wimps. Packaged in a full color poster foldout sleeve. (Česká republika) - CD Když jsem dostal toto CD od Radka Kopela spolu s pozdravem na plakátku firmy Idan se sloganem "Nový šperk za starý", v duchu jsem si představil nějakýho prďolu jak si běží vyměnit starý Beatles za nový Napalmed. A což až si to v rodinném kruhu pustí! Inu nelze vždy dát na marketing. Ale zpátky k věci. Hoši od Napalmed se s tím nemazlili a vybalili to všechno pěkně zhutněné do dvou válů. První vál "MBR not MSBR" se převalí za pouhých patnáct minut, ale vnitřnosti Vám protřese dobře. Výpověď je to jasná a stručná, je to jak když se rozjede pásová výroba a Vy máte tu smůlu, že tam děláte. A ten mrzoutský mistr Vás nenechá ani vych...t. Poté se ocitnete v ráji. Prosakujete poeticky kontaminovanou zeminou, plujete fialovozeleným slizkým kanálem, zpoza přeplněných popelnic nasloucháte romské diskotéce, vznášíte se nad smogem zamženým městem až Vás to vyplivne před vrata převezeného kostela. To vše za necelou hodinu. Po hudební stránce je syntéza distorzí ruchů a šumů, společně s klasickými zvuky naprosto geniální. Obal CD je v poněkud retro stylu, kdy se vrací k barevnosti hippies a omámení trávou. K hudbě ale zcela ladí a významně ji doplňuje. Celkově lze říci, že Napalmed se věnují sice okrajovému stylu, ale v tomto stylu jsou naprostou jedničkou i ze světového úhlu pohledu. Jak odlišné od našich trapných interpretů mainstrému, kteří to s bídou dotáhli do přítmí jeviště a neustále nás obtěžují z TV a rádií. Myslím, že i skalní příznivci v USA a Japonsku budou souhlasit s pěti hvězdičkami. Never Mind.features 2 tracks: a 15 minute improvised live recording made up entirely by grinding noises produced by what sounds to me like scrap metal sounds "engineered" through some samplers. I could be wrong, though. Once a track by Controlled Bleeding entitled Scrap Metal appeared on some more commercial industrial sampler and sounded very similar in vein. But that was less than 2 minutes long! The 2nd track is almost a hour long studio recording also spontaneously performed by the band with a number of true industrial ingredients. The track alternates moments of pure chaos to quieter and slightly more structured passages. Rhythmic constructions emerge here and there while the clanging noises rubber shoulders with crazed screaming voices, guitar noises, banging percussion, overdriven effects, all mixed, shaken up and served to your ears with no regret. While the first track will simply pierce your brains, the second offers some more soundscaping, so to speak, albeit of harsh industrial nature, as the progression of sounds does not run after a climax but seems to be there to paint the world of chaos in front of your mind. Much as industrial-ambient, if there were such a thing. By the end of the disc, deafness is virtually guaranteed. I applaud this courageous release and since it's limited to 1000 (no re-print) and 400 have gone to the independent press, alternative brains with an inclination to noise should hurry to secure their copy. I'm not terribly familiar with noise scene, but this definitely sounds less digital and more organic that other things I've heard. Jakoliv jsem přetvářel své úvahy o tom, že vše se memusí točit okolo melodie. Tak ani to, že nesmyslnost je někdy pro někoho více smyslná mi nedovolilo udělat z lidí pitomce a tlačit jim do hlavy psychodelické soundy. Je na každém jak si tento názor přeberete, ale já, ačkoliv bych byl pod vlivem těžkého psychotropního účinku některých drog, tak bych nepřiřadíl ani jeden bod za jakoukoliv snahu v čemkoliv. Je to opravdu silné kafe i pro mě. A to si poslechnu i testovací soundy pro reprosoustavy bez problémů. Witter __________________________________________________ DEGENERATE (Finland) - tape Napalmed is a name that I have seen for some time now in mailorder catalogues. Most of the releases have been split 7"s and tapes but this tape is the first I hear by them. Side A of the promo tape I received from Napalmed features the entire part one and the first segment of part 2 found on the release "never mind the MSBR…". This means I got about 45 minutes out of the total 56:44 that it originally runs at. When I first started to listen to the tape I found out that I haven't been in touch with the noise scene for some time. So after listening to this tape I had to dig in my collection and on the net to freshen up my knowledge. After hours of MSBR, Merzbow, Masonna, K2 and Incapacitants I was ready to resume my listening to Napalmed. The sound of Napalmed doesn't remind me of any of the mentioned noise-acts. For starters it features many different techniques in creating the noise. Junk, voice cut-ups, guitars through effects and microphones being abused all blends together. The mixture sometimes works brilliantly in creating a cacophony of sound. I enjoy the more rhythmical parts the most as the intensity gets higher. Some junk noises are a bit too soft sounding like someone rattling keys or something, I like it much better when it sounds like metalsheets being smashed. Voice is not screaming like Masonna but rather and I think this could have been left out, as it really doesn't add anything. This is not harsh noise in my opinion and the general feeling is a bit experimental. Personally I enjoy harsh noise better despite the fact that I can't stand to listen to it for longer periods of time. Napalmed is easier on the ears but damn it is not easier for the mind. New twists in the structure occur regularly and I find myself wondering what the heck is going on. Sometimes it develops slowly with one rhythm or sound being replaced but most often something new just jumps into the mix. This makes it highly enjoyable, as it is never stagnant or boring. It feels epic in the length of the tracks and the fact that so many different sounds and rhythms have time to be presented. Will be interesting to see their future works as they have a lot of talent to work with. Po mezinárodní kompilaci Anomalous Silencer, která vyšla na počátku letošního roku, nyní vydává své vlastní autorské CD, v pořadí již deváté. Nová deska Napalmed obsahuje pouze dvě skladby, ale jejich stopáž přesahuje sedmdesát minut. Kapela, která se pohybuje mezi experimentálními žánry noise a industrial, se nebojí hledání nových a nových zvuků. To, co pro běžného posluchače představuje jen směs rachotu a pískotu, chápou hudebníci jako nový směr nastupujícího přetechnizovaného tisíciletí. Sami ostatně v bookletu alba své nástrojové obsazení popisují slovy "kovový bordel a ocelový odpad, rozebraná španělka a samovyrobená metalka, kráječ vajec, různé mikrofony, pedálové efekty a mixpult". Vůdčí osobností Napalmed je Radek Kopel, z jehož dílny pocházejí i zajímavé koláže na obalu kompaktu (texty jsou vyvedeny v češtině i angličtině, neboť tyto hudební styly jsou populární zvláště v zámoří, v USA a Japonsku). Společně s ním skladby na CD spontánně vytvořili a předvedli Míra Vlček, Martin Beraxa a Franta Pačan. Skupina Napalmed se svým fanouškům naživo představí již tento pátek v mostecké kavárně Poezie. Askild Haugland __________________________________________________ EARSHOT (Austria) der Soundtrack zur `Terminator`-Reihe - klingt komisch, is aber so Etwas äußerst interessantes (aber ebenso gestörtes) fand aus der Tschechei seinen Weg in meine Hände - die Rede ist von einer der zahlreichen Veröffentlichungen des kranken Vierers NAPALMED, welcher mittlerweile auf eine 8.000 Publikationen umfassende Discographie seit der Bandgründung 1994 zurückblicken kann. Darauf wären freilich nicht nur die Rock-Opas von den ROLLING STONES, sondern auch die belgischen Grinder von AGATHOCLES stolz, jedoch stellt sich hierbei offensichtlich die Frage, ob sich die Tschechen nicht permanent wiederholen und stellenweise einfach nur langweilen. Nun, wenn man sich "Never Mind The MSBR, Here's The Napalmed" anhört, so sollte die Frage schnell beantwortet sein - was NAPALMED seit der Bandgründung ans Tageslicht befördern, ist weder kranker Grindcore noch Punk- oder Core-Lärm, vielmehr eine Ansammlung von Geräuschen, Tönen und Effekten, welche - zusammengefügt - nicht nur den optimalen Soundtrack zur "Terminator"-Reihe abgeben würden, sondern auch eine gewisse unnachahmbare Einzigartigkeit darstellen. Ich will hier weder das Album noch die Band in höchsten Tönen loben noch verreißen - das bleibt dem jeweiligen Hörer überlassen -, jedoch objektiv betrachtet sind NAPALMED einzigartig und innovativ (zumindest ist mir persönlich keine andere Band bekannt, die tatsächlich ausschließlich mit Geräuschen arbeitet), auf der anderen Seite jedoch kann ich mir keinen Menschen vorstellen, der sich tatsächlich über die Dauer von Geräuschkulissen berieseln lassen kann und vor allem auch will - so interessant es auch sein mag, die Urheber der verschiedensten Töne ergründen. Vielmehr noch, ich stelle es mir weitaus schwerer vor, verschiedenartigste Töne - seien es metallischer, elektronischer, hölzerner oder andersatriger Herkunft - zu einem homogenen (oder zumindest als ein solches erscheinendes) Ganzen zusammenzufügen, als mit den üblichen Instrumenten nach bestimmten Grundregeln eine Songstruktur aufzubauen. Zwar bestehen beide Kreationen aus Tönen, nur bestimmt man jene der Saiten-, Schlag- oder Blasinstrumente (nur um ein paar Beispiele zu nennen) in Punkto Lautstärke, Rhythmus, Takt, Geschwindigkeit und Klangfarbe primär selbst, ein Gitarrist weiß, wie er greifen muss, um zu einem bestimmten Schlagzeugtakt einen passenden Ton zu bekommen - reiht man jedoch verschiedenartigste Tonfolgen aneinander, so muss man sich zusätzlich auch noch einen gewissen Verlauf, eine Voranpassung ausmalen. Wie würde es in der altbekannten "Sendung mit der Maus" heißen? "Klingt komisch, is aber so." - und nichts anderes wäre passender, um "Never Mind The MSBR, Here's The Napalmed" zu Umschreiben, sie klingen komisch, sind aber nun einmal, wie sie sind. Einzigartig? Absolut. Innovativ? Dito. Interessant? Ohne Zweifel! Eingängig? Wohl kaum. Beurteilbar? Unwahrscheinlich. In Folge dessen erübrigt sich es wohl auch, über die Produktion zu reden - hier gibt es kein "die Stimmen sind zu weit im Hintergrund", "die Tom ist zu dumpf geraten" oder "der Bass steht nervig im Fordergrund", es klingt einfach alles so, wie es klingt, nicht mehr und nicht weniger - Punkt. Die Aufmachung jedoch ist wohl der einzige Faktor bei NAPALMED, welcher beurteilt werden kann - und hierbei hat sich NAPALMED-Kopf Radek durchaus Mühe gegeben und Talent bewiesen, ein verwirrendes und passendes Etwas zu kreieren, eine Kollage aus den verschiedenartigsten Bildern zu schaffen, so dass der musikalische Teil auch bildhaft - visuell - umgesetzt wird. As I said power electronics or noise industrial or whateveryoucallit is definitely out of fashion maybe that's why this is their first full length release alone. Track 1 is good old noise, press fast forward if you're not a fan of that sort of stuff. Track 2 is a more than 50 minutes long live impro using just about anything you can thing of to make sound with (including a kazoo, I think, but I won't risk my right hand on it). Imagine an hour-long jam session with them regular jazz virtuosos and their polyphonic fingers. Bore yourself to death. Once you're dead, replace them with four talented and experienced noise artists in a warehouse with loads of you know, STUFF, and you could get something like this. Multiple layers of alien sounds (was this some Vogon screaming?), I'm-trapped-in-a-robot-factory-gone-crazy atmospheres, rhythms that grow only to get lost in 15 seconds and endless variations (don't forget them very short moments of pure noise adding their spicy flavour here and there). This is quite an experience to listen to in one go. So I suggest you have a try at it, cause Napalmed truly deserves a larger audience. And I still think Komblex reviewed in issue 1 is their best recording to date and deserves an even larger audience. Wer Japannoise oder etwa einige US–Lärmer mag, wird mit dem ersten 15–minütigen Stück gut bedient. Der zweite (und zugleich letzte) Track nimmt die Atonalität und das Chaotische etwas zurück und enthält sogar so etwas wie Rhythmus, der einen an ungeliebte Ferienjobs in Fabriken denken lässt. Those who are into japanese noise or into some of the US-noisers are treated well with the first track which is 15 minutes long. The second (and last) track slightly reduces the atonal and chaotic elements and even contains sort of a rhythm that lets the listener think of the unloved holiday job in a factory. There are quite a lot of things happening during this one-hour-long track although it gets a little tiring at the end. The artwork is quite attractive because it does not submit to the usual boundaries of the genre but maybe a 10 inch would have done just as well. Kdo má rád japonský šum nebo některé us-hlukaře, bude první 15ti minutovou skladbu dobře obsloužen. Druhá (a současně poslední skladba) ubírá netónovost a chaotično a obsahuje dokonce něco jako rytmus, který nás upomíná na nepříjemné prázdninové brigády v továrně. Během téměř hodinové sklady se sice něco děje, leč únavné to přece jenom je. Tohle dílo je docela povedené, protože je ve svém žánru netypické, ale 10 minut by snad taky stačilo. Not something I'm especially fond of, but I do dig a bit of it now and then. NAPALMED is a Czech band that could easily go up against the "majors." This shit is easily more destructive and grating than anything Relapse/Release has put out. Nevermind's two tracks is composed with metal/iron scraping, eggcutters (!), screams, various microphones, tool-like hammering/percussive sounds, occasional screams/shrieks, guitar feedback and several other types of white noise. This pro-pressed disc comes packaged in an oversize, six-panel fold-out booklet featuring a collage of full-color artwork done by Radek Kopel. Personally, this is a bit too drawn-out for me at over 70 minutes, but noise freaks will probably love this. There are also industrial/noise bands coming from there too. This is the case with Napalmed, from Czech Republic, existing since 1994, and now spreading its name all over the world. This demo is harsh industrial: no real instruments, no computers, just sound manipulations, and that ends up making something quite professional, a bit influenced by Merzbow sometimes, but also sometimes closer to a sort of GENOCIDE ORGAN version without vocals. In a way, Napalmed is a sort of mix of most of the industrial styles, which also means that it’s hard to compare them with anyone in special. Jsou to také některé industrial/noise skupiny. A to je případ NAPALMED-u z České republiky, ktrý existuje od roku 1994 a teď nese své jméno do celého světa. So if you know that kind of scene it’s quite impossible that you never got a Napalmed flyer. Napalmed got with this kind of propaganda and their near 10 years of history developed a strong name in the underground scene worldwide! (noise and grindcore) with a big bunch of split and DIY releases and here’s their first proper CD after 8 years of existence. Mastermind Radek Kopel and his acolytes play a kind of noise/industrial improvisation that made me think the first time I heard this CD that this is like a bad drug experience in a factory. I guess this is maybe the best cut they possibly ever recorded if they decided to put this on a pro-CD because you don’t invest cash pressing and packaging (by the way the packaging is really nice it’s like a six panel colour with tons of beautiful picture collage, very nice packaging) if they don’t believe in this music. I was never been impress in the music before (except for their split with the mighty Government Alpha), but I guess that these two tracks (one of 15 minutes, another of, mmmm, 56 minutes) worth the cost for an introduction in the Napalmed world. The sound is like a succession of harsh electronics, neo-tribal stuff, dark pounding soundings, etc.! this is a really nice mixture. So if you enjoy long ambient neurotic noise I strongly recommend you this first pro release from these underground noise purveyors. Mikko Aspa > http://www.cfprod.com/fa __________________________________________________ FREEMUSIC (Česká republika, 13.12.2002) - CD Programová abdikace na využití běžných hudebních nástrojů a tvorba založená na nemilosrdném hluku, tvořeném podomácky upravovanou elektronikou v kombinaci s běžnými předměty denní potřeby a kovovým odpadem, toť možná trochu zavádějící, ale pro neznalého posluchače zřejmě výstižná definice hudební orientace mostecké skupiny Napalmed. Ta vznikla v roce 1994 s cílem produkovat noise v duchu dnes již klasických představitelů žánru, tzv. japonské hlukové školy. Stejně jako pro ně i pro Napalmed je na prvním místě práce se zvukovou intenzitou, rezignace na melodickou, harmonickou a dokonce i na rytmickou stránku věci. V některých momentech z valné části spontánně vytvářeného zvukového materiálu jsou sice jisté stopy po struktuře znatelné, často však jde pouze o jakési záchytné body, jimiž se zainteresovaní hráči (schválně se vyhýbám termínu hudebníci) možná podvědomě snaží zachovat pro posluchače "poslední zbytky" hudebně-rytmicky identifikovatelných opěrných bodů. Takto jsou Napalmed zachyceni na dosud realizovaných splitových albech či kompilačních nahrávkách. Jelikož i na jejich živých vystoupeních je kromě téměř soustavně monolitického hluku prvořadá energie a nepředvídatelná živelnost, bylo otázkou, jestli bude takovýto na dřeň oholený arzenál postačovat na jejich první samostatné "dlouhohrající" album, jehož název je parafrází na slavnou nahrávku Sex Pistols, navíc obsahuje-li více než 70 minut materiálu - jednu patnáctiminutovou a jednu takřka hodinovou skladbu. Ani já sám jsem si nebyl jistý, do jaké míry bylo správné nejprve kapelu vidět živě (v rámci letošního ročníku festivalu Alternativa) a teprve takto "vyzbrojen" se pustit do zvukového dobrodružství skrytého v stříbrném kotoučku. O lecčem však mohl již předem napovědět fakt, že nahrávka byla pořízena v jejich mostecké zkušebně živě s cílem docílit stejného účinku, jakou mají na své posluchače Napalmed při koncertních vystoupeních. Každopádně onen katarzní účinek se dostavil i z takto zakonzervované nahrávky, zcela v duchu kréda vůdčího ducha Napalmed, Radka Kopela: "Noise je mnohokrát zesílený život...vždycky pravdivý". První "kratší" skladba MBR, not MSBR se zřejmě nejvíce blíží zmiňovanému japonskému pojetí s převládající denervující vysokofrekvenční intenzitou a hlasovou zběsilostí, způsobem provedení zhruba někde mezi Masonnou a Incapacitans. Skladba se příliš nevyvíjí, má lineární stavbu a její poslech bych přirovnal k dálkové plavbě rozbouřenými vlnami. Zvládnete ji pouze, jste-li zdatný plavec, pouze však ti vytrénovaní z toho mohou mít i potěchu. Pro ty ostatní nejspíše připomene zvuk tryskového motoru (jinak oscilátory, mikrofony), doprovázeného nestrukturovaným kovovým lomozem (železa, plechy, řetězy). To druhá, ač podstatně delší skladba Never mind the MSBR, here's the MBFR (MBFR = iniciály jmen současné sestavy kapely), má rozhodně členitější stavbu. Její rozsáhlé pasáže stavějící na rytmičtějších kovových úderech mohou upomenout někdejší pionýry industriální scény (snad dokonce Einstürzende Neubauten z jejich nejranějšího období, viz použití stejných "výrobních prostředků"), v jiných elektronicky vytvářených hlukových blocích, postavených na práci s intenzitou zvuku, se skladba ubírá v rafinovanějším duchu, tak jak ji známe od mistrů oboru Merzbow. Ta necelá hodina hluku se může jevit přespříliš dlouhá, mně osobně připadá přesto dost zajímavá. Je na ni moc dobře znát poučenost z tvorby širokého spektra "kolegů z oboru" i poměrně slušná dotaženost celku, kdy spontaneita provedení i původní záměr jsou si ve vzácné rovnováze. Nakonec se ještě jednou znovu vrátím ke konfrontaci zážitku z koncertu s vjemy získanými "pouhým" poslechem zvukového nosiče. Samozřejmě, síla Napalmed tkví především v živé produkci, album "Never mind the MSBR, here's the Napalmed" však přesto zdařile zachycuje současnou etapu jejich vývoje, charakterizovanou promyšleným a koncentrovaným noisem, za který by se rozhodně nemuseli stydět ani žánroví exponenti mnohem a mnohem věhlasnější. In een kleine drie kwartier horen we vier nummers voorbij komen en vooral de eerste drie nummers zijn niet om aan te horen. Normale muziek komt er niet voorbij, het enige wat je hoort is continu irritant gekraak in de speakers. In het vierde nummer is nog wel iets terug te vinden wat op een gitaar lijkt, maar veel stelt ook dat niet voor. Het heeft me dan ook een grandioze moeite gekost om 'Misch Masch Mikasch' van begin tot eind te beluisteren, even heb ik nog geprobeerd om een tweede luisterbeurt te wagen, maar halverwege werd het mij toch echt te veel. Ik begrijp best wel dat je als band experimenteren wil, en er zal misschien ook wel een beperkte doelgroep zijn die op dit soort geklooi zit te wachten, ik kan er helemaal niets mee en ik kan me ook niet voorstellen dat er iemand is die hier wel op zit te wachten... Ik vraag me dan ook af in hoeverre ik een dergelijke band als Napalmed serieus moet nemen, het zal in ieder geval wel erg moeilijk worden om hiermee een fatsoenlijk platencontract binnen te halen. But finally we do hear something in the last song which sounds like a guitar, but it's not much. I've heard both sides of the tape, which wasn't easy at all, I even tried to listen to it a second time, but I just couldn't do it. I do understand that a band is experimenting and trying to find their own sound, and perhaps there's an audience for this type of music, but I just don't like listening to it and I wonder if there's a record company out there who is waiting for this kind of music. Výstřely do tmy. Raketa se řítí podzvukovou rychlostí vesmírem. Vynechávají motory. Pilot si unuděně brnká na tingrtangly, zvonečky a možná si honí vocas. Další motor vynechal, za žádnou cenu už nenaskočí... Všude vůkol vesmír (Pink Floyd by se styděli za svojí prvotinu). Stále vesmír a hlomozící stroj ztrácí rychlost a snad i svůj tvar. Motory dodělávají. Pilota už to taky nebere. Ozvěvy v uších mu splývají s dodělávajícím zvukem motorů. Motorický zvuk ustává. Pilot usedá na vesmírné kolo (šlapací) a ubírá se vstříc hlubinám vesmíru. Jsem zvědav jak dlouho vydrží. Má trochu volný dráty, ale moc ho to nevzrušuje. Jeho hvězdný korám pomalu mizí v dáli. On šlape a šlape. Stereotypní tempo. Naučený rytmus. Občas si do toho zahaleká, aby cesta líp ubíhala. Pomoc nikde. Zrychluje... bláhově. Dělá se mu zle. Bleje..., bleje..., bleje... Jedna kachna za druhou. Už nemá co (blejt). 30:00 - stále šlape, nasraně řve a buší si do hrudi. Vesmírné kolo, ochabující vzteklý pilot a prázdnota. ...manuální stroj dodělal. Co teď? Jetpack na zádech. Poslední spása... V tom je záchrana. Kdesi z hlubin se zjevila vesmírná loď. Šlape jak hodinky. Pára je holt pára. Pilot je zachráněn (zatím). Planeta... bohužel mrtvá. Io per primo sono uno che tende a far emergere in sede di recensione, quel poco di buono che puo avere un'accozzaglia di rumori come quella proposta dai cechi Napalmed. Con tanta ansia e da tanto tempo attendevo questo cd, dal quale forse mi aspettavo, stranamente, un po' di struttura logica, o quantomeno la trasmissione di un qualsivoglia messaggio. Devo ammettere di avere inizialemente apprezzato quanto proposto dai Napalmed, forse perche ero sotto esame, forse perche ero innamorato, o forse perche non stavo realmente badando a quel che stavan sopportando le casse dello stereo. Dalle parole fin d'ora pronunciate potreste intuire che si tratti di materiale assai poco digeribile e perlopiu insignificante, dalle idee parecchio campate per aria: in effetti e cosi, ma piu che di musica da stroncatura, l'elettro-noiz-rutto-peto-industrial dei Napalmed mi risulta essere invalutabile. Il fatto di non avere una forma ben definita potrebbe anche piacermi parecchio, ma mi impedisce di esprimere una valutazione obiettiva sulla proposta e di catalogarla dentro un genere che, oggi come oggi, ha sin troppe varianti per poter essere generalizzato attraverso una definizione universale. La sua imperterrita istintivita non lascia affatto indifferenti, portando l'ascoltatore (o meglio, la vittima...) a cercare disperatamente un significato nel tumulto di grida, sospiri, ferraglie e quant'altro che pervade il perverso mondo dei Napalmed. Quel che vien da chiedersi e si tratti di genialita incompresa oppure di pattern buttati a caso, quasi a sottolineare la tossicodipendenza (della quale sono certo) dei membri di questo progetto insano. Non voglio continuare a porre questioni irrisolvibili su questo inquitante act dell'Est europeo, preferisco consigliarvi di gettarvi in questo piccolo mondo (non tanto lontano dal nostro...) popolato dal nevrastenismo e dalla pazzia omicida. 0 / 10 Hellraiser > http://www.haternal.com __________________________________________________ HIS VOICE 1/2003 (Česká republika) - CD V papírovém obalu omotaném plastovou síťkou s vloženým kouskem kovu se k nám dostává první samostatný kompakt mostecké noiseové úderky existující již od roku 1994 pod vedením Radka Kopela. Nejedná se však o úplnou premiéru na zvukových nosičích, Napalmed jsme měli možnost slyšet na Kopelem vydávané a po světě šířené řadě kompilací Anomalous Silencer, nebo split-CD s legendou žánru, japonským projektem Merzbow. První ze dvou skladeb, čtvrthodinová MBR, Not MSBR (všechna ta záhadná písmena jsou zkratky jmen členů souboru) se nese v duchu nejsyrovější japonské produkce. Na téměř neměnné uširvoucí stěně se odehraje několik spíše náhodných dějů, zřetelnější vývoj nastává až v posledních třech minutách, kdy je stěna přerušována, až nakonec zmizí úplně. Šestapadesátiminutová Never Mind The MSBR, Here's The MFBR je pravým opakem předchozího opusu. Je tišší a změny se v ní odehrávají téměř neustále, konstantou je pouze nenápadný rytmus v pozadí. Na něm jsou vršeny krátké překrývající se útržky elektronických i kovových zvuků (Napalmed používají především menší kovové objekty s průraznějším zvukem), které mnohdy naznačují příchod očekávaného běsnění. To přijde jen v několika náznacích, nejvýrazněji mezi třicátou a čtyřicátou minutou, aby bylo i nadále střídáno dalšími náznaky, krátkými pauzami a volně se přelévajícím zvukovým prostředím. Řekl bych, že tento ve zkušebně nahraný kus hudby je protipólem obvyklého koncertního zvuku Napalmed, zatímco předchozí skladba jej víceméně věrně (i když ne tak pestře) zprostředkovává. Příznivcům nejvyhrocenějšího noise nelze než album doporučit, za sebe však musím říci, že pro mě Napalmed i nadále zůstanou především koncertním souborem s neopakovatelnou atmosférou. (Italy, 09.08.2002) - CD Despite the title which recall the first Sex Pistols' album, NEVER MIND THE MSBR has got nothing to do with punk music at all! Divided into two long tracks ("MBR Not MSBR" and "Never Mind The MSBR, Here's The MBFR") the CD contains seventy minutes of noise, screams and stuff. The first track isn't structured at all and it has got an "in your face" attitude, while the second one is more experimental and starts with distant delayed and reverbered drums with improvised concrete noises just to increase little by little during its fifty six minutes lenght, adding more noise and speeding up a little the rhythm which change time to time. Sonic anarchy seems to be the main Napalmed's target and this make of this CD an album for the lovers of extreme noise manipulations/improvisation. Too bad there's no writing support to their noise assault, this would been helpful for understanding the band's thoughts, because since I know they put a lot of economical efforts in releasing this CD I think they did it with a purpose... Really, culturally this is a weird experience of noise, for an artist painting grahes with its excrements and exposing in New York this is an alternative to madness, and for grinders, this has no interests/. Simply because I'm not in his mind and so I can't udnerstand why such "sounds" had been put together and as most of the time this is simply improvisation, I am quite sure that this band is not able to play the "songs" on stage again. They certainly can make a live performance but again by improvisation and so if you like the successions of sounds, just like that, at the "carpe diem" feeling, well, this is for you, but don't expect more noise than that, because this is not the hurricane, this is just some machines but clean, eheh. Do rukou se mi dostal nejnovější počin zuřivé mlátičky NAPALMED. Není to jen tak obyčejná novinka, ale vůbec první plnohodnotné CD, které tato kapela vyprodukovala po osmi letech své existence. Obsahuje pouhé 2 skladby: 1. MBR not MSBR, 2. Never mind the MSBR, here's the MBFR, které vám však seberou přes 70 minut života než je poslechnete (nebo spíše přerachotíte). Jsou podávány v plné formě, jak byly spontánně stvořeny a nahrány. Největší pozornost si zaslouží originální obal, což je vlastně papírová skládačka formátu A3, pěkně barevná, dvojjazyčná (česko-anglická) a plná fotek samotných protagonistů. Hudebně mě hoši zrovna nepřekvapili, nicméně jsem zvládla album poslechnout od začátku do konce (až dvakrát). Věrní fandové nebudou zklamaní, i tentokráte se jim dostane přehršel rachotu, skřípání, vrzání, kopání, bouchání, škvrkání, jekotu (netroufám si to označit za zpěv). Takovým tím hlavním podkladem ostatním pazvukůmzůstává oblíbený únik páry z prasklého potrubí... jen se občas změní tónina toho syčení. Při poslechu se mi vybavilo kde co, počínaje jízdou metrem v tunelu, kopáním motyčkou do chodníku, přes bouchání na dveře různých typů, jízdu na starém rozvrzaném kole... až jsem zaslechla tóny připomínající PINK FLOYD. ale to už mi z toho asi úplně hráblo. Není to nic pro mě, ale páni kluci opět stvořili výplach jak se patří na průjezd gigantickou továrnou po výbuchu atomovky. Na všechny dychtivé se dostane, deska byla vydána v nákladu 1000 kousků. There are plenty of times where it doesn't work this way of course but I find it strange how often an initial listen will leave a taste like rotten potato but if one braves another go, hidden wealth will suddenly be revealed. I initially spun this disc on some mediocre PC speakers at work and I was having some definite problems reconsiling the sounds I was hearing with the brutal posturing and near spamming that Napalmed had pushed quite insistently when this was first released (and long after in fact). Their black metal font logo for example, the harsh noise and metal zine activities, etc. all worked to push the image of some evil fuckers getting faced on clinical alcohol and spending the night torching orphanages. Well this ain't that same band at all, no this act that I am listening to has far more in common with Eric of the fucking amazing Hermit or seminal Rotten Piece than any cloak sporting metal refugee. Napalmed musically share far more lineage with stuff reviewed in Bananafish or even that released by Mandragora. Outsider noise, psychedelic noise, tape trader noise, freaky schizophrenic lunging with a rake while drinking mouthwash noise. I'm glad I saved it for it another round as through my Truths the dingy mildew production acts as spice instead of overly drying out the palette.. The disc is laid out as two long sessions, one around 15 minutes but the other "where is the cool bit" frustrating 50+ plus minutes. I am definitely n o t a fan of the indexing scheme and although I can sympathize with the urge to not want to break up a distinct set, there is enough variation in what is happening that getting stingy with the track markers is uncalled for. Likewise, the packaging may make for a decent poster if you are prone to stick everything on your wall but I would have preferred something a little more resilient. Production is dry and dusty as I mentioned, moistureless Mandragora with a tiny bit of early (i.e. "Sonic Death" era) Sonic Youth in that some stringed instruments peep their heads up to say hello. On the instrumentation angle it's a mix of junkish percussion, oil drums, shiny bits of stainless steel sparking as they are dropped onto sheets of flint, echoplex tape like delay fed to squeaky door hinges and uncomfortable overdrive pedals. Detuned bass is struck with who the hell the knows, bowed maybe and other than the most metallic material it is pretty hard to get the picture of the domestic refuse yard at the recycling depot out of mind. As mentioned, this recording is very and I mean very dry and literal. If any postproduction beyond hitting the "burn" button in Nero was been done I would be surprised. It could just as easily be coming through your window as out your speakers though it does sport a bit of the bandwidth profile of a cross continental phone conversation. Lo-fi definitely, little bits of distortion adorn some of the peaks and I'd be amiss if I at all claimed otherwise. But it doesn't really interfere too badly - the feeling is more like having an illicit recording of some secret tribal gathering of crazy people as opposed to just a shitty demo from over seas. As I said previously, this disc could hardly sound more outsider. At times it is a vocal free Nihilist Spasm Band with home made pseudo instruments being thrown into a big pile and then promptly stomped on. What normal instruments are present (cymbals for one, guitar and/or bass for two) were probable not pawnable by the end of the sessions. I could see Noggin sneaking into a Napalmed concert and feeling right at home and you almost get the feeling that if you offered up a bottle of Vodka first, they just might let you set the place a fire while they got out their aggressions on the various instruments. I especially like the barefoot cackling that creeps in towards the end of the second track, as if wanting to make absolutely sure you didn't mistake this for anything too sane. As organic noise goes, there's enough range here to empty your magazine a few times. The overall sound quality is a bit thrift store but the subtle authenticity it contributes makes one feel like they have scored something r e a l l y out there in the used tape bin. Denn selbst Bands aus dem übelsten Grindcore-Lager machen immer noch flotte Beat-Nummern. Ja selbst die Noisecore-Buben von Cripple Christ und der Tschetnik Section Mainz haben in ihrem Lärm hin und wieder nachvollziehbare Momente. Soetwas geht Radek Koppel mit seiner Band NAPALMED völlig ab. Legt und stellt alle technischen Haushalts-Geräte, die irgendwie Geräusche machen, in ein Zimmer, schaltet sie ein und Ihr bekommt annähernd einen Eindruck davon, was Euch auf der CD "Never Mind The MSBR, Here's The Napalmed" erwartet. Die Geräuschkulisse ist vollkommen. Und damit der Einstieg für Anfänger nicht so schwer ist, dauert der erste Song "MBR Not MSBR" auch nur rund 15 Minuten. Bei Stück Nummer zwei geht es dann schon derber zur Sache, weil sich Koppel und seine Mitstreiter fette 57 Minuten auslassen. Něco takového Radek Kopel a jeho skupina NAPALMED vůbec nemá. Položte a postavte všechny technické domácí přístroje, které dělají nějaké zvuky do jedné místnosti, a zapněte je a získáte asi tak přibližnou představu co vás na CD "Never Mind The MSBR, Here's The Napalmed" čeká. Zvuková kulisa je dokonalá. A aby nástup pro začátečníky nebyl tak těžký, trvá první skladba "MBR not MSBR" taky asi jen 15 minut. U skladby číslo dva se už jde pořádně nahrubo k věci, protože Kopel a jeho společníci řádí celých 57 minut. Tohle je něco jen pro šílence, hluché, perverzní nebo jednoduše fanoušky Noisecore. If you know, please explain it to me? Ok, if you never heard of Napalmed it’s because you’re possibly not into the DIY noise scene or the DIY scene in general. You know that scene you order stuff to people’s distro and you got 84765348 flyers coming with your order. So if you know that kind of scene it’s quite impossible that you never got a Napalmed flyer. Napalmed got with this kind of propaganda and their near 10 years of history developed a strong name in the underground scene worldwide (noise and grindcore) with a big bunch of split and DIY releases and here’s their first proper CD after 8 years of existence. Mastermind Radek Kopel and his acolytes play a kind of noise/industrial improvisation that made me think the first time I heard this CD that this is like a bad drug experience in a factory. I guess this is maybe the best cut they possibly ever recorded if they decided to put this on a pro-CD, because you don’t invest cash pressing and packaging (by the way the packaging is really nice it’s like a six panel colour with tons of beautiful picture collage, very nice packaging) if they don’t believe in this music. I was never been impress in the music before (except for their split with the mighty Government Alpha), but I guess that these two tracks (one of 15 minutes, another of, mmmm, 56 minutes) worth the cost for an introduction in the Napalmed world. The sound is like a succession of harsh electronics, neo-tribal stuff with metallic matters, dark pounding sounds with power tools, etc. This is a really nice mixture. So if you enjoy long ambient neurotic noise, I strongly recommend you this first pro release from these underground noise purveyors. Před vánocemi mě můj kamarád požádal, jestli bych mu nemohl nahrát pořádnej odvaz pro tátu. Tak jsem hned šáhnul po tomto CD. Když odvaz, tak odvaz. Spokojenej tatík o vánoce zastrčil svůj dárek do CD přehrávače a nastal chaoz. Hned volal synovi, co mu to nahrál, že prý mu to rozbilo apaturu, že hrajou jen pazvuky. Natož kamarád volal mě, co jsem mu to přihrál za CD. Sranda musí být i na vánoce. Hold kapela by se měla přejmenovat na Napaltátu. A o tom to je! Jinak já osobně dávám 6 z 10 bodů, jak by pravil Bohouš Němec. Hlavně za ten kráječ na vajíčka. Skupina Cure by se asi divila. Přeji hodně úspěchů a dalších dobrých nápadů. Najnowsza płyta Napalmed to 2 utwory, ale ich czas... to 71:57 minut. W zawartośc krążka została wrzucona cała gama doświadczeń i pragnień realizacji antymuzyki rodem z Czech. Pierwsze 15:13 "MBS not MSBR" to informatyczne kodowanie dźwięku. Można powiedzieć, że jesteśmy świadkami radykalnego noise, w cudownej odmiane znanej z kraju Kwitnącej Wiśni. Będąc niemym świadkiem rozpadania się dźwiękowego kontynentu i dryfowania po cieczy twórczego hałasu niejednokrotnie myśl zakręca koła o nazwie Merzbow. Przywodząc inne solidne nazwy antymuzyki dodać wypada drugą stronę półkuli i wczesne lata Knurl. Utwór podzielony jest na 3 frazy. Zaczyna mocno, ostro i zdecydowanie, gdzie mamy zwycięstwo autonomicznej myśli dźwięku, ta galopująca ofensywa z czasem zaczyna nieco cichnąć, aby bliżej ostatnich minut fundamentalnie zmienić swoje oblicze na bardziej zindustrializowany dźwięk, zwolniony, katorżniczy w swym mniej ekstremalnym akcie. Zupełnie jakby rejestracja próby z dnia 11.01.01. roku miała nas przygotować na kolejny utwór, zdecydowanie odmienny oraz konsekwentny w związku ze zmianiającym się charakterem płyty. Drugi utwór o tytule "Never Mind The MSBR Here`s the MBFR" wyobraźmy sobie na zasadzie gdyby każdzy dźwięk był przedmiotem. W ten sposób każdy z nich może być poddany obróce analogowej i cyfrowej, można go przybliżyć, oddalić czy obrócić. Można na niego spojrzeć z profilu, z tyłu, podsunąć lustro, panoramować go podług naszych zmysłów wzroku i słuchu. Mimo doświadczenia wciąż z jednym dźwiękiem poznajemy go w jego wielowymiarowości. Taka jest właśnie 56:44 minutowa etiuda, kompetnie odmienna o charakteru pierwszego utworu. Utwór nie jest hiperrealistyczny, ale jest zwodniczym wariantem technologicznego spojrzenia, nowego spojrzenia, na znaną historię kompresowania i zniekształcania dźwięku. Cyfrowa mutacja audio generuje swój włąsny porządek, pogłębiający noise`owe pęknięcie porządku muzycznego, przez przemysłową, techniczną produkcję i reprodukcję. Soniczny przekaz nie kończy się wyłącznie na rozpędzaniu gromkiej maszyny, gdzieś w oddali na przestrzeni okolic 27-32 mnuty pojawiają się paniczne, histeryczne krzyki. Wysokośc ich barwy oraz forma przetworzenia zbiegają się niemal z częstotliwościami mocno hałaśliwych wówczas textur. Innymi słowy utwór obdarzony jest fikcją - wyborażeniem chaosu, nieprzewidywalnego ciągu zdarzeń, które pomimo wolnego czasu zmian i przemijania utwór wciąga zarówno pasywnie jak i aktywnie w kolejne przepastne minuty improwizacyjnego noise. Stworzony potężny sound oparty na dwóch basach oraz perkusji to efekt zarówno kalkulacji jak i przypadkowości - utwór składa się z obrazu (jeśli przypominmy sobie postawioną teorię iż każdy dźwięk jest przedmiotem) złożonego, zdolnego do komponowania się z następnymi złożonymi frazami. Obraz cierpi, obraz cieszy się, obraz żeni się, płodzi kolejne obrazy zanika, umiera, rodzi się ponownie ze swych popiołów, wciela się, często jest posłuszny, ale i sprzeciwia się, perwersyjnie zaraża inne obrazy, uosabiające dźwięk. Ekstremizacja została uzyskana dzięki dźwiękowi-kluczowi jakim jest trans. Początek jest niczym gąsiennica motyla, która z czasem obserwuje swoje późniejsze oblicze rozpościerające skrzydła i symultanicznie istniejące w wielu wymiarach przekształceń i zniekształceń. Gąsiennica przyjmuje je z przyjemnością - w kolejnych minutach płyty relacja pomiędzy sygnałem a szumem i szmerem zostaje ponownie rozpatrzona na korzyść szmeru. Wielorakość pogłosów i odbić tworzą znak soniczności i mimo specyfiki noise muzykalnosć góruje nad racjonalnością. Także rytm różni się od rzeczywistych rytmów - regułą jest przyspieszanie i zwalnianie. Wystarczy pozostawić za sobą dwa obrazy dźwięku w normalnych i anturalnych rytmach i tempach, ale dzięki elektronice zaczną się sumowa, odejmować, mnożyć czy dzielić, generując noiwy odmienny rytm. Ik doe een graai in de CD's en blijf hangen bij het Tsjechische Napalmed. Niet tegengehouden door de al enigszins verdachtmakende bandnaam besluit ik de CD op te zetten. Had ik dat maar niet gedaan… De zon verdween onmiddellijk achter de wolken, de mussen vielen abrupt dood op het dak, de bijen werden vervelende stekende darren, de eekhoorns werden platgetrapt, de vlinders werden gevierendeeld en even verderop hoorde ik het razend kolken van een overstromende rivier. Strontchagrijnig word ik door een acute slaapaanval overmand en baal ik van de ernstig betrokken lucht. De wolkenbrij breidt zich razendsnel uit en er is in no time in de verste verte geen streepje blauwe lucht meer te zien. Getverdrie, wat wordt me dit een klotezomer! Met een slecht gevoel, een barstende koppijn en met het verkeerde been strompel ik weer naar m'n bed. Kan die herrie niet uit? Ik doe een graai naar m'n CD's en blijf hangen bij de Japanse geluidsterroristen Merzbow en Null en die feedbacknoise van Lou Reed's 'Metal Machine Music'. I myself was instantly pissed-off and struck by an unseen sleep attack just by looking at the sky that turned from happy blue into boring black. Goddamned, this promised to be one miserable summer. In a bad mood, with a bursting headache and on the wrong foot I stumbled back to bed again. 'Could somebody turn of that fucking noise, please?' Again I grabbed into the CD box, and this time my hand landed on stuff from those Japanese sound terrorists Merzbow and Null, and later on at that feedback noise from Lou Reed's 'Metal Machine Music'. My god, how deliciously melodic and subtle music can be! Hmm, those steelworkers from this Czech band Napalmed could learn a lot from those guys, for this product is nothing more than a recording of working very hard in an ear-destroying noisy factory for 75 minutes. Po bezmála osmi letech existence hlukové formace Napalmed vydává tato vlastním nákladem své debutové CD. Za plnohodnotný debut sice osobně považuji vinylový picture disc "Up To The Ears In Tinnitus" z minulého století (1999), nicméně nyní se jedná o CD debut, takže je vše v pořádku. Co do obsahu, je skutečně takový, jak jsem uvedl v recenzi advance proma tohoto titulu a tak se zde mohu omezit pouze na fakt, že Napalmed (ve složení Baxa, Franta, Radek a Míra) se tímto cédéčkem postupně prořežou vším stěžejním s čím zachází. Zkrátka a dobře, industriální hlukařina, zvukové manipulace, neuvadající fantazie. Originální CD s vkusným potiskem disku je ukryto do papírového barevného rozkládacího obalu formátu A3, na kterém jsou znázorněny různé koláže doplňující zvukový záznam. Vnitřní strana obsahuje fotografie jednotlivých členů kapely, takto tuším vůbec podruhé zveřejněné (poprvé to bylo na splitu s Merzbow). I really cannot describe the style of music that Napalmed play. To me it just sounds like noise, and I suppose that what the band describes themselves as, there are no instruments, at least in the traditional sense. They use "Garbage and things people don't need to make noise", then they put it all through effect pedals, combine it with samples and you end up with a clusterfuck of sound. I can't say I've ever heard anything like this, but I have never looked into the noise scene. They compare themselves to Merzbow, but that doesn't help me at all as I have no idea who Merzbow even are. There are two tracks on this album, and the first track, "MBR not MSBR" (not even the song titles make any sense to me) is just this grating, distorted fuzz with random metallic clanks in the background. This goes on for about fifteen minutes and as far as I can tell doesn't do much of anything else. The next track "Never mind the MSBR, Here's the MBFR" is more random clinks and drones that go on for more than fifty minutes. I don't want to rush out and call this stuff crap, because I really have no idea what I am supposed to be listening for. I would guess that fans of this type of stuff are looking for something that I just can't see here. Diese beiden Demos sind in der gleichen Machart, harscher Industrial: keine echten Instrumente, keine Computer, nur Soundmanipulationen und das resultiert in etwas durchaus professionellen, manchmal etwas von MERZBOW beeinflusst, aber manchmal auf näher an einer GO-Version ohne Gesang. Blisko 72 minuty całkowitego chaosu w dosłownym słowa tego znaczeniu. W przypadku Napalmed nie ma mowy o tym, aby to, co znajduje się na tym krążku nazwać muzyką, to jest najgorszy sen, jaki mógłby się przyśnić Bethovenowi, Czajkowskiemu czy innemu kompozytorowi. Całkowita kakofonia, konglomerat szumów, trzasków, skrzypnięć, buczenia, drapania. Nie ma mocnego na tą płytę najwytrwalszy wytrzyma przy niej, co najwyżej 30 minut, można siedzieć dłużej, ale kto by chciał ryzykować utratę zmysłów albo zbierać swój mózg z podłogi, który wcześniej wyciekł prze uszy? A jednak ten cały rozgardiasz, ten nieporządek na swój chory sposób jest uporządkowany, tkwi w nim jakaś metoda, której niestety nie udało mi się jeszcze w całości wychwycić. Napalmed stworzył raj dla ludzi, którzy dostają orgazmu przy antymuzyce, przy minimalistycznych dźwiękach, które doprowadzają do szału i bólu zębów. Pierwszy track jest bardzo szalony, drugi stonowany, można powiedzieć bardziej bezpieczny. Na prawdę trudno jakoś konkretnie nazwać to, co nagrał Napalmed, pełno tu różnorakich dźwięków, trzasków, dzwonienia, do tego elementy industrialu, wszystko wymieszane, zabełtane i woala. Napalmed może być całkiem niezłym narzędziem zbrodni, nie lubisz staruchy z dołu, która podkręca głośność na maksa, gdy ogląda "Plebanię", nic prostszego włącz, Napalmed i poczekaj zawał murowany. Even most resilient listener will stand with this CD 30 minutes at the most, of course can listen longer, but who want risk take leave of one's senses or gather one's brain from flor? But this all commotion, all mess on owns sick way have method, which I don't still discovering entirely. Napalmet creating paradise for people geting orgasm at antimusic, at minimalistic tones, which lead to tooths pain and madness. First track is very insane second more subduet, more safe for listener. I dont know how I can name this what Napalmed recorded, her are full varied sounds and tones, statics, rings, some industrial components, all is mixing. Aj napriek tomu, že tunajšie médiá tento žáner de facto absolútne ignorujú, vo svete sa takéto ´hlukomalebné´ spolky tešia veľmi silnej priazni hudobných extrémistov, o čom v konečnom dôsledku svedčí aj veľmi dobré renomé Napalmed-u v krajinách západnej Európy. Mosteckí experimentátori na svojej novinke neostávajú nič dlžní povesti majstrov vo výrobe najrôznejších industriálnych ruchov, medzi ktorými však citlivé ucho poslucháča môže dokonca (na rozdiel od predchádzajúcich počinov) dokonca zaregistrovasť náznaky akejsi melódie. Toto cédečko by sa rozhodne nemalo dostať do rúk tým, ktorí majú radi pesničky s presne danou štruktúrou, ale skôr ľuďom, ktorým sa niekedy v minulosti dostali do rúk povedzme nahrávky niektorých industrial/noisových úletov z katalógu renomovaného švédskeho labelu Cold Meat Industry. ´Hudba´ Napalmed-u rozhodne nie je o nejakom umení, skôr o pocitoch a náladách, ktorých vyjadrenie prostredníctvom produkcie kapely sa môže zdať na prvé počutie akokoľvek ´úchylné´, pokiaľ by sme ho však vnímali ako určitú alegóriu, priam dokonale charakterizuje dnešnú pretechnizovanú dobu plnú násilia a netolerancie. Aj napriek tomu, že ide o regulérny album, jeho súčasťou sú iba dve skladby - pätnásťminútovka "MBR ne MSBR" a takmer hodinový track "Nemyslete na MSBR, tady je MBFR", ktorých spoločným menovateľom je, ako inak, hluková stena masívneho charakteru, ktorú kapela zriedkakedy preruší paľbou ´nežnejších nástrojov´ (kovový odpad, oceľový odpad, rozobratú španielku, na kolene zhotovenú metalku, krájač vajec, rôzne mikrofóny, pedálové efekty, mixpult...). The other thing that makes them so important is the fascinating full time fun sounds that these guys produce on their tapes. Every recording that I've ever heard was a resounding success. This tape bears a fine racing twang among multiple layers of whatever wherever sounds forcing their way to the front, ever revolving and trading places to ensure an interesting mix. Not extremely harsh, sometimes "day-at-work" industrial, with even a hint at rhythm and echoing (strange) melody. Its odd how musical it becomes as it takes shapes from improvisational sound flings. Immaginate una enorme macchina da guerra simile a quella della copertina di "Rrroooaaarrr" dei voivod, immaginate di guardarla con l'obbiettivo di distruggere tutto cio che vi circonda e di non lasciare intatto nemmeno un mattone: queste sono le immagini che evoca l'harsh industrial di "Never.". Non potrete non divertirvi (e lasciarvi scappare un ghigno di soddisfazione) ascoltando questo potente lavoro che comunque rimane sempre su frequenze pacate ed ovattate come se appunto stiate sentendo, dall'intereno del vostro cingolo, il fragore della distruzione che state provocando. But for me this one is more excellent (superb) in the field of making noise. This album contains only 2 tracks but it runs up to 71 minutes. On the first track, titled "MBR not MSBR". This one more into static harsh noise with some vocals noise like shout and scream plus I guess they used here some electric material that really makes a continuous noise. This one runs up to 15 minutes and 14 seconds. On the second track titled "Never mind the MSBR, here's the MBFR", this one quite so long. It runs up to 56 minutes and 44 seconds with a combination of some material they used like what they said a home made acoustics guitars, metal junk and iron scrap, etc… On the first 20 - 30 minutes of the track it's more lighter than the first one even it takes so very long, their noise here more clearer with the use like I've said guitar and pedal effects. While on the later part of this track it sounds heavier and a continuous pedal noise effects. Plus the good thing on this album is the package. On this album Radek picture appeared on the inside sleeve (I don't know if he show already his picture in other album he made) plus some of his friends who's also part of this album and contribute to make a full noise. He used some graphics that is really artistic to make the sleeve more meaningful. And also one more thing I really like is the uniqueness of this packages because for first 400 copies you will get it comes with a orange or red plastic net and a piece of metal. Matroš nacházející se na této pásce byl nahrán v nové sestavě a celková délka je 72 minut. Tento materiál skládající se ze dvou kompozic bude v brzké době hozen na originální CD. Nyní k obalu této pásky. Celobarevný obal je vyveden ve čtyřech verzích a prvních 19 šílenců má doma, jak Rádio K píše "ultra-super-luxusní balení". Nyní se pojďme prokousat hlučným NAPALMED-em. "56:44 (pt.1)/Never mind the MSBR ..." je první kompozice a je to vskutku skvělé. Nahodilé brnkání (tahání za struny) na kytary, různé údery do materiálů, nejčastěji železitého stavu, skvělé basové dunění a spousta dalších pazvuků smíchána do jednoho celistvého jádra, které se pozvolna rozpadá, vytváří vskutku skvělou, až bych si dovolil tvrdit, relaxační atmosféru. "56:44 (pt.2)/...here's the MBFR" je druhá kompozice, která je trochu podobná první. Možná by se dalo říci, že kdyby se obě skladby spojily, byla by z nich jedna velká. Ale přesto se mi zdá, že u dvojky je víceméně znát větší tovární atmosféra. Jako kdybych se nacházel někde v ocelárnách na záchodě a zrovna se bortily vysoké pece. Můžu se jen uklonit tomuto skvělému materiálu a poděkovat R.K. za tento počin (přestože se více přikláním k první věcičce). Poslední dobou se mi líbí právě takovéto materiály (asi jsem už starší..., ha-ha) a ještě navíc precizní zvuk, kterým se Rádio se svými kumpány již odjakživa prezentuje, mi přece jenom sedí více než totální šumáky... Pro příznivce totální apokalypsy zmíněný titul asi nebude, protože má nejblíže k matroši "Mixes II & III", ale trocha industrial/harsh symfonie se tu také najde a to hlavně v druhé polovině sekvence. >Š< (Jirka Klomfar) __________________________________________________ NOISE MASTER #12 (Česká republika) - CD První samostatné album mosteckého komanda je na světě. Na CD se nachází dvě kompozice a je uděláno několik speciálních balení ve dvou verzích. Co se týče samotných kompozic, tak ty jsem již recenzoval v některém z minulých čísel N.M., v podobě audio pásky nesoucí tentýž název a ty samé názvy skladeb. Na kazetě oproti CD je materiál v nezkrácené formě a i když já mám promo kopii, tak jsem si tím zcela jist. Na kazetě vše začíná skladbou "Pt. I Never mind the MSBR" a na CD je to druhý song, ale krapánek delší (poupravený) název "Never mind the MSBR, here´s the MBFR". Obal je zajímavá koláž přírodních krás s umělohmotnými a kovovými věcičkami a fotografiemi lidí, kteří se účastnili tohoto počinu. Materiál je nahrát jako většina věcí na živo ve zkušebně (většinou se teda nahrává přímo doma), ale to by nebyl NAPALMED, aby se výsledný sound netvořil ve studiu. Tudíž zvuk je zase parádní a jednotlivé hudební výstupky jsou velice dobře zřetelné. První a kratší skladba Vás dostane do transu v podobě kmitajících frekvencí, které jsou dosti intenzivní a v jednu chvíli doprovázené zmutovaným skřekem, mě připomínající skvělou společnost ala MASONNA. Druhá skladba je mnohem pestřejší a klidnější a naleznete v ní takové zvuky, šumy, ruchy, na které si otrlejší snad i "zatancují", haha. Celá druhá skladba mi tak trochu připadá jako by to snad nebyla ani improvizace. Vynikajících zvuků tu je dost a dost, ale takový prapodivný, ani nevím k čemu to přirovnat, snad traktor s cirkulárkou na 1 otáčku za minutu, by tu mohl být víckrát. With a demo titled after SEX PISTOLS (or SORE THROAT?), "Never Mind the" NAPALMED's music is the ultimate minimalist stuff, stripped of every resemblance to any kind of "melodic" music you can desperately try to grab to feel safe. Combined in the right pattern, noise can give you emotions, steal your breath, raise your heartbeat just as any other "traditional" band. Since from the first song this NAPALMED tape substantially brings you to the verge of suicide. It's kind of distant, eerie, and melancholic, with a background fuss which reminds me of a thin rain falling on glistening concrete. Metallic clacking and tedious tickling add the background for what is like a huge rasping breath which come and goes in waves. There are lots of "instruments" used here, if you want to call them that way, which add variety to the music with a plethora of different sonorities. At times the sound grows to be a bit more like heavy boots pummeling the ground, at times it's just like hearing your TV fizzling out of tuning. At time it's just like a blank lp spinning erratically. The curious thing about this demo is that it DOESN'T sound electronic at all even if made mainly with keyboards and percussions, it just don't involve techno beats or stuff you can picture when thinking of a noise band. It's just NOISES, arranged to create a grim arabesque, like a sculpture made of pipes and black sewer stones, not dazzling circuitry if you know what I mean... Oh well, time for me to go to sleep. Jediná rada, jak tomu předejít je, vzít si kladivo, přiložit ucho ke kovadlině a vší silou udeřit... V mozku se Vám zatmí a po prvotních bolestech se záhy ocitnete ve slastné říši ticha. Rada znamenitá, ale hůře proveditelná a tak chtě nechtě se musím prokousat debutovým Napalmeďáckým cédéčkem. Abych to měl co nejvíce stížené, tak Radek spolu se svými třemi společníky natočil materiál, který vyplňuje celou kapacitu CD, rovných 72 minut ve dvou skladbách!!! Vše je nahráno živě a já si marně lámu hlavu nad tím, zda-li to má "kapela" vše nacvičené, nebo je to pouhá improvizace dle dané nálady. Ale nebudeme tohle pitvat (vše se snažil rozpitvat náš pitval Louďa v rozhovoru, který v tomto čísle naleznete) a pojďdme k "hudbě". Jak už jistě víte, o hudbu se více méně nejedná. Jde o změť nejrůznějších zvuků a šumů, které jsou porůznu kombinované a mixované. Dokonce v nich pozorný posluchač uslyší i rozmanité nálady (nedělám chytrého, to jsem si přečetl v promo materiálech, ale něco na tom pravdy je). Obal je nezvykle tvořen pouze papírovou skládačkou formátu A3, což je originální, ale vadí mi že to nemám v plastové krabičce. Je to takové "holé" a jelikož jsem sběratel, tak mám strach, aby se mi to časem nepoškodilo. Ta stopáž 72 minut se fakt nedá. Ať jsem se snažil sebevíc, prostě jsem celé CD v jednom zátahu nestrávil. Zde bych se přikláněl k variantě 7"CD, jako to na splitu předvedli Ptao + 7 Minutes Of Nausea. Je to malinké, roztomiloučké, sběratelsky atraktivní, není to dlozuhé a tak si to člověk i občas poslechne. NAPALMED is one good reason for this. Everyone should have heard of them by now, they're very active with both the band and their own Napalmed distribution! So here I got my first taste! I expected the harshest of the harsh with the name, but as this music is so full of surprises, I'll do my best to account my experience. It was suttle, in a kind of eerie and actually relaxing way. It managed to work its way to flow with my mentality and, as good music/sounds tend to, it inspired a mood. I could think straight and enjoyed all 4 tracks to the end, it's the kind of thing I'd like to listen to whenever I need to broaden my mentality. Happy music? Not at all but it didn't send my senses into a barbaric rage as my beloved gore grind always does! Being open to new mental states, this is a good one, it's enlightening, would I be a total retard to say that it almost has a sophisticated sound? I think it's because it's manifested from the heart and follows no guidelines, as good noise should. Which probably explains the way it manages to settle into mind and flow with your brainwaves. Imagine a kind of sound as that opening sequense of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", you remember those weird noises? I have no idea how it's made, but the bizarre noise scapes are suttle and hypnotizing monotone. By the fourth track it's got me totally in the vibe and I'm taken further along the journey as it makes a transition to more severe and harsh sounds with no warning, but you have no choice but to go with it (or hit stop, but then you are a poop head, go listen to USHER). I'm glad to have this tape in my possession, recommended to pretty much anyone with an open mind. Might not hurt to have a puff or two before hand? But really if your head is open you won't need it. They call it original and just experimentation and play this live in front of people. These people must be really stoned or something since this is just plain noise to me and to write only 2 songs that total 72 minutes is just pointless... I can just have microphones all over my house and bang a few pots every 2 minutes or so and even fart and shit if need be, it'll be all recorded right? I just have the luxury to let everything as is without going through all this trouble with pedals and microphones. None of this makes any fuckin' sense; what fuckin' idiot would sit through 72 minutes of insanity and despite what fuckin' reasons you give me, its still fuckin' noise and talentless. This shit died out in the early 90's to be quite frank because many people think the same way I do and it's just a waste of CD space. What do you base your judgement on? Diversity? Harshness? Production? With Napalmed, the same rules and limitations apply as with any other power electronics band: these are not the kinds of CDs you would pop in at any time of the day, but rather when you’re in a specific mood or specific state of mind. The question is: how effective is the album in such a state of mind? Looking at the album title (translated: "Never mind the MSBR, here is the Napalmed"), it is clear that these guys are putting themselves in the same league as MSBR. Taking a close listen, I can understand why that is so: there are plenty of similarities, especially in the heads-on full-frontal noise attack that is complemented by sounds/samples and vocals/screams. With the second track, this approach changes: a much more easy and relaxed take on constructing a song out of sounds and beats. Very ambientesque, and not at all comparable to MSBR - or at least not to the work I own. Even though plenty of instruments and samples are used, I still think the 59 minutes this song runs is a little too long - after a 20 minute span I got the feeling I`d heard enough. Nonetheless, true fans of ambientesque music might definitely get their kicks from this. Wer braucht da vier Tschechen, die live und völlig unvorbereitet im Proberaum über 70 Minuten irgendwelche Geräusche erzeugen und unstrukturiert und unrhythmisch vor sich hin scheppern? No dobrá, ale důkaz o tom, že klasické instrumenty a písňové struktury lze kompletně hodit přes palubu dal mezitím vzniknout dostatku chytráckých aktů. Kdo ještě potřebuje čtyři Čechy, kteří naživo a zcela nepřipraveni ve zkouškové místnosti víc než 70 minut vytvářejí nejaké zvuky a nestrukturovaně a nerytmicky hlomozí? Nic netušící šašci rádi tvrdí, že extrémní metal zní jako staveniště. Tohleto JE staveniště. Akusticky a v hlavách zúčastněných. During the 1st, "MBR not MSBR", sometimes it seems you're being drilled by a mad dentist, in others that a gas tube bursts in your face, or that you're being engulfed by a crumbling mine. Later it sounds like the mike's been set hanging on Etna's mouth, then inside a spaceship full of creatures like "Alien"'s trilogy, where there's a hole undertowing you towards the open space, to soon be brought to a NIN-like show in which guitars and mikes are broken galore; whereas "Never Mind the MSBR, here's the MBFR" (?) might make the sick mind of a necrophiliac serial killer, fan of "Matrix"'s futuristic environments mixed with the nuclear blasts of 200 suns, happy. Přiznám se, že Radek Kopel mne naučil poslouchat tento abstraktní "hudebně-nehudební" styl. Sice stále celou nahrávku na první poslech nezvládám, zato jsem se naučil tuto zvukovou koláž o 100% lépe vnímat. U NAPALMED však musíme také brát celkovou atmosféru a jakousi "image". Tak třeba obal kazety je opět absolutně nespoutaný a originální. Velice mne pobavilo heslo: "No copyrights, no sponsors or other shit. Copy and use free!". A co tedy obsahuje tato kazetka? Opět sérii příjemných i nepříjemných zvuků. K této zvukové kulise je třeba fantazie. Tak např. záznam této nahrávky mi připomíná jakousi továrnu v roce cca. 2456. Totální pracovní shon a všude hrozný chaos. Poté se má mysl náhle objeví ve vesmíru. To už jsme v roce 3785 a ve vesmíru je provoz jako na trase Kladno-Praha. Všude zácpy a fronty. RADEK KOPEL and company have produced their most notorious "creature" to date. "NEVER MIND THE M.S.B.R., HERE'S THE NAPALMED" shines with fresh, exhuberent decisiveness but it equally chaotic in it's existence as well. Two compositions total on this full length effort, at times invoking primal, dischordant industrial seasonings ala superbly mixed and executed metal percussion {and even eggcutter!!} to inhabit some of the more open "terrain" available. As free form as "NEVER MIND THE M.S.B.R...." might be, there seems to exist an earnest communion {creative telepathy} of those involved, especially in the magnum opus "NEVER MIND THE M.S.B.R., HERE'S THE M.B.F.R." where both chaos and delecate respect co-exist as one. The quality of continuous developement but a real sense of knowing when not to work against one another and to allow certain aspects to breathe more freely. Peaks and valleys of unique interplay and moving, periodic vocal terror make this a very dynamic and highly textural release. A competent marriage of clearly voiced industrial sounds and beautiful hybrid noise violence only an artist such as NAPALMED can provide. Vividly colorful package including strong natural and industrial related photograghs and a perfect print job by ALDUS, "NEVER MIND THE M.S.B.R., HERE'S THE NAPALMED" gets my highest recommendation. After 5 minutes of this noise which nearly got me a headache I skipped to the second track which is 'only' 56 minutes long! The second track is a much more calmer one still quite repetitive though. It's not going to be to most people's taste, unless they're into real avant-garde experimental noise shit. If you do decide to take it on though you'll need to come at it with your mind completely open. Track one 'MBR, not MBSR' is awash with distortion and feedback. Track 2, 'Never mind the MSBR, here's the MBFR', on the other hand, is a musical ghost ship, laden with creaks and chimes. It sounds exactly like a deserted, smashed up ship caught in a raging storm. Really, just close your eyes and it's right there. What's really scary is that, at times among the total randomness, you can almost hear a tune taking shape. Eight minutes into this monster track and the storm threatens to subside before the crashes become more frequent. Then a low, bass like hum and what could be a regular beat fade in slowly to reward the diligent listener. Industrial noise of the most extreme kind created by experts. Lo que tengo aquí es el primer disco, me parece, de este grupo nacido en la República Checa. Napalmed es el proyecto de cuatro tipos que intentan hacer algo novedoso, moderno y fuera de los parámetros actuales de lo que se considera "metal" e incluso "música", utilizando para ello todos los recursos tecnológicos que les fueran posibles. El disco consta de dos temas grabados el ano 2001 en una inusual sesión en la casa de uno de los integrantes. Aquí no hay nada más que ruidos extranos, samplers, gritos y un montón de alinos que no llevan a nada. Me parece que la idea inicial de la banda fue crear algo espontáneo, improvisado y sin una línea clara a seguir. Eso se podría decir que lo lograron, pero el resultado es una marana de ruidos sin sentido, monótono, aburrido y que personalmente no me llama para nada la atención. En un principio pensé que podría tratarse de una propuesta industrial al estilo Ministry, Scorn o MZ 412, pero me equivoqué rotundamente. Además los temas son de larga duración, con 15 minutos el primero y casi una hora el segundo. Lo único interesante es esa atmósfera agobiante y desesperante que logran con tanta experimentación y weas raras, pero al final eso es sólo por el hecho de no encontrarle nada rescatable al CD y querer que se acabe pronto. Za komančů tady s prvním noisecorem přišel zřejmě Milan Knížák, nyní ředitel Národní galerie. V Hollywoodu se z lidí, kteří uměli dělat různé zvuky prostřednictvím neobyklých udělátorů, vyvinula od éry němého filmu specializovaná skupina, jimž se začalo říkat šumaři nebo hlukaři a dnes jsou tito lidé dobře placenou součástí každého kvalitního filmového štábu. Nechápu, proč už barrandovské studio dávno neangažovalo Napalmed na tento lukrativní post. Měli by sebou hodit, než to udělá někdo jiný, protože to, co tahle povedení čtveřice vyvádí na ploše dvou hodin za zvukové a hlukové taškařice, to by vystačilo na dokreslení atmosféry pro celovečerní dokument ze života hlídačů vrakovišť a kovošrotů. Všelijaký šrot, nějaké podomácky vyrobené kytary, kupovaná akustika, různé mikrofony, pochopitelně mixák a dokonce i kráječ na vajíčka (taky jsem na něj hrával) – to vše a ještě mnohem více jsou „ibanězky“ Napalmed. Roztomilý barevný booklet vás informuje, že na totmo díle se nacházejí pouze dvě skladby. Má to ale háček... První se jmenuje „Never mind the MSBR...“ a druhá „...here´s the MBFR.“ Sice nevím, co to znamená, ale myslím, že je to jedno. Důležitější je, že ta první má prý stopáž 56:44 a druhá taky 56:44. Ne, to opravdu není překlep, v bookletu to tak je napsáno. Ale pravda to není – je to kratší. Možná obě dohromady tu hoďku mají; neměřil jsem to, takže nevím. Neodolal jsem a poslechl jsem si první skladbu – je to docela poklidná relaxačka, vážně. Tedy pro člověka, který celý život netráví ve fabrice, protože takovému to jistě libé pocity nenavodí. Druhá skladba obsahuje především v závěru drsnější momenty. No co vám mám povídat, Napalmed jsou prostě jenom jedni. Pro někoho naštěstí, pro jiného naopak. Myslím, že Knížák by z nich měl radost... - / ? You will hear samples, loops of sound. They remind me of Malaysian GORB on their "Sink" demo. I only like some part, especially the dark sounding one. On the B-side I hear also some distorted vocals, and also some small louder parts. For the rest the sounds are all distorted and raped instruments. We can't talk about songs and for the most of the people it will be bullshit. I've heard some of this in the past and I can say that I didn't hear something like this, most of the times it was always much louder and much more noisy stuff recorded very loud. You could compare this to MERZBOW and the like [who NAPALMED have also shared a split CD with], and as promised, 'Nevermind the MSBR...' is spontaneous and random. Of course it's easy for spontaneous improvisation to become predictable and annoying, but there's a flow here that makes things interesting. The overall result is more raw than NAPALMED's comrades, and ends up sounding simultaneously organic and mechanic, making the album all the more fun for me. Add the odd packaging [featuring a piece of waved iron woven into a plastic net available in one of two colors] and you have a cult CD that won't appeal to everyone but is most recommended to fans of the genre. It shouldn't be that hard to acquire... it's available direct from the band for a good price, and i know of at least one well stocked distro in the U.$.A. that carries it. This CD consists of just two tracks that lasted over 70 minutes and yes this band is into harsh electronics/ industrial/noise stuff but what made them different from the other bans that I've heard of so far is the generous use of acoustic sounds. Yes not everything here passes through effects before finally getting recorded. There was the usual electronic manipulation but with the combination of acoustic sounds coming from just about anything that creates sounds, the final output gave a more calming effect rather than the usual irritating head-splitting electronic manipulations. Most of the noise is obviously created using iron or steel gadgets and beaten or thrashed out with precision that in turn made this band another favorite in this issue. As with any bands of this genre!, it requires silence, and calmness to totally understand what this is all about. Der Sound der CD ist sehr schwer zu charakterisieren, da sie keine Musik sondern nur Krach enthält. Dieser allerdings ist gut zu vernehmen, so dass man von einem der „Musik" entsprechend gutem Sound sprechen kann, zumal dieser sich dieser für sich gesehen durchaus klar offeriert. Musikalisch wird auf dieser Veröffentlichung rein gar nichts geboten. Es befindet sich ausschließlich sehr kreativ und spontan erzeugter Krach auf dem entsprechenden Tonträger. Dieser ist weder strukturiert, noch weist er irgendeinen besonderen Charakter auf, welcher ihn hörenswert machen würde. Atmosphäre kommt fast nie auf, was die „Musik" ja erheblichst aufwerten würde. So kann man bei dieser getrost von völlig schwachsinnigem, mit Effekten aller Art, einem Eierschneider, bis zur Unkenntlichkeit entstelltem Gitarrenklang, Mixern etc. erzeugten Krach sprechen, welchem wohl nicht einmal Noise – Core – Fans irgendetwas abgewinnen dürften. Sicher denken sich jetzt einige Leute, dass ich ein Kunstbanause bin, welcher eine „gutgemachte" Klangkollage einfach nicht als solche erkenne. Diese aber bitte sollen sich einmal die über 70 Minuten schrecklichsten Kraches zu Gemüte führen, den ich beim Hören dieser NAPALMED – Veröffentlichung ertragen musste. Textlich dürfte ebenso, wie musikalisch, nichts geboten werden. Die Texte liegen mir zumindest nicht vor und irgendwelcher ernstzunehmender Gesang ist auch nicht vernehmbar. Zvuk tohoto CD se dá těžko charakterizovat, protože neobsahuje hudbu, ale jen hluk. Ten je ale dobře vnímatelný, takže lze mluvit o zvuku odpovídajícím hudbě, který se navíc, viděno samo o sobě, dobře nabízí. Hudebně se na této realizaci nenabízí vůbec nic. Je na něm výhradně velmi kreativně a spontánně produkovaný hluk. Ten není ani strukturovaný, ani nemá nějaký zvláštní charakter, který by ho dělal hodný poslechu. Atmosféra nikdy nevznikne, což by "hudbu" výrazně zhodnotilo. Tak lze klidně mluvit o zcela slabomyslném hluku vytvářeném efekty všeho druhu, kráječem na vajíčka, k nepoznání změněnou kytarou, mixérem, atd., ze kterého nebudou mít nic ani příznivci noise-core. Teď si určitě někteří lidé myslí, jaký jsem kulturní barbar, který nepozná ani "dobře udělanou" zvukovou koláž. Ti by si ale měli poslechnout 70 minut nejstrašnějšího hluku, který jsem musel vytrpět při poslechu zveřejnění NAPALMED. Po textové stránce stejně jako po muzikální není nabízeno vůbec nic. Texty nemám k dispozici a nějaký vážně míněný zpěv nebyl slyšitelný. Celkem lze u této nahrávky možno mluvit o šrotu, který by si dopřát jen přátelé nestrukturovaného hluku. Se@n (Sean Hogan) __________________________________________________ VIVA SPARKY! #6 (UK) - CD Napalmed are four-piece experimental band from the Czech Republic, and their reputation precedes them; regular readers of VIVA SPARKY! will almost undoubtedly have come across one of their flyers tucked in the pages of previous issues. By all acounts, there is a lively avant-garde and experimental scene going on Radek Kopel's neck of the woods; the proof of this is in the fact than "Never mind the MSBR, here's the Napalmed" is being co-distributed by no less than six Czech record labels. Futhermore, this latest CD is limited to a run of one thousand copies, which most surely indicate that Napalmed have built up their audience. When it arrived in the post, nicely presented with a colour cardboard gatefol sleeve, I was therefore eager to find out what all the fuss was about. Goodness, this is difficult music. "Never mind..." is over seventy minutes long, and was recorded in January 2001. The first track, "MBR not MSBR", which comprimes the first fifteen minutes, is, one would say, fairly representative of the whole: harsh white noise, punctuated by guitar feedback, maniacal screams, and the occasional tortured guitar line. The intrepid foursome of Radek, Baxa, Míra and Franta use a method of improvisation to produce this music, employing the sound properties of objects such as iron scrap, as well as prepared and home-made accoustic gutars, and that well-known and most respected of instruments, the humble eggcutter. This first track is fairly monotonous, as the expected change in texture that replaces melody as the focus of interest in music of this genre arrives far too late for my liking. The second track "Never mind the MSBR, here's the MBFR" is also the title track, and is somewhat longer, clocking in at just fifty-six minutes. Though in much the same vein as the first, it's the better piece by some distance, with lots of evocative and faintly sinister variations in texture, and seems the more inspired of the two. But whereas the first track was incessant, this one slowly builds and ebbs, and its lenght means that these peaks and thoughts take several minutes to become apparent. One wonders why it was not given a release all to itself -- it is certainly long enough and sufficiently sure of itself to stand up on its own. It's rather earnest, of course, but then no-one accuse the Napalmed lads of sentimentalism. This is noise music writ large, on a symphonic scale. Lovers of melody -- beware. Je čile zapojen do celosvětového dění na poli tohoto "hudebního" odvětví. Ve svém ranku je jednoznačně nejvýraznějším, pakliže ne zcela ojedinělým zjevem. Popsat tvorbu Napalmed je sice na jednu stranu jednoduché, ale dosáhnout při tom výstižnosti zároveň vyžaduje nemalé soustředění. Kopel (občas i se spoluhráči, to je ostatně případ i tohoto alba) používá cokoli, co vyluzuje zvuky konvenující jeho představám. Může se jednat o něco tak prozaického, jako je kytara ("rozebraná španělka a samovyrobená metalka"), ale především jde o kalibry nevšednější. Takový kráječ vajec lze s trochou dobré vůle pořád ještě považovat za strunný nástroj, ale "kovový bordel a ocelový odpad" už určitě vytvářejí dostatečnou představu. Napalmed naprosto neuvažují v intencích harmonií, písňových struktur či podobných konformních kategorií. Do neopakovatelných shluků kolem sebe soustředí ruchy, údery a šumy a v první řadě jim jde o atmosféru. Většina recenzentů to odbývá mávnutím ruky a Radek Kopel pak žehrá na nepochopení u druhých, a svou vlastní jedinečnost , výlučnost. Druhý úhel pohledu (kdo posoudí, co je legitimní názor?) ovšem říká, že něco podobného může vzniknout, i kdyby se na kazeťák zahcytilo řádění Pepíčka a jeho kamarádů v dědečkově dílně. Umění? Kýč? Hodnocení počinů Napalmed a jim podobných je tak vždy ožehavým tématem. Jak k něčemu tak neuchopitelnému přistupovat_ Osobně mám tendenci podobné experimentální kuriozity po "umělecké stránce" příliš neglorifikovat, ale půlbod za životní postoj tvůrců přidám. Indeed, guys from NAPALMED play all their songs with instruments such as cable cords, plastic bag, glass plate, eggcutter, retaining rings, home-made metal guitar, etc. Yeah, I know that's rather strange. but I must say that even if I'm totally not into this "music", this is rather interesting and cool to listen. Obviously, a lot of you won't like of what NAPALMED is about, but they deserve a minimum of support, even if that's not Brutal Death Satanic Gore Metal. Makoto Fujishima > http://weirdtruth.jp __________________________________________________ WHIPLASH #34 (Česká republika, 1/2003) - CD Předloňská kazeta NAPALMED se stala materiálem pro vůbec první s nikým nedělitelný kompakt a celkově již druhé album této noisové legendy, jež opět prokázala smysl pro dobrý odhad, protože z nesčetného množství dosavadních nahrávek vybrala pro tento účel jednu z těch zcela nejzásadnějších, kterou vsunula do pestrými barvami hýřícího papírového obalu. Čtvrthodinové trýznění MBR ne MSBR představuje typickou ukázku nejryzejšího industriálního noise, charakterizovatelného přespříliš monotóním, nicméně intenzivním náporem nestrukturovaného hluku, ruchu a šumu. Bezmála hodinové mučení s parafrázujícím titulním názvem Nemyslete na MSBR, tady je MBFR, je přes svou obdobnou jednolitost zjevně nápaditější koláží nejrozmanitějších zvuků, dobývaných kovového bordelu a ocelového odpadu, pedálových efektů, mikrofonů, mixpultu a mnoha dalších pozoruhodných zdrojů, nevyjímaje třeba takový kráječ vajec. Atmosféra nahrávky se přitom v průběhu času dramaticky proměňuje, vyvíjí, vstřebává různé odstíny, až nakonec vrcholí v neuroticky vygradovaném finále. Navzdor nemilé absenci výraznějšího nápadu se podařilo spontánně vytvořit a předvěst sice ničím nepřekvapující ale o dobré formě vypovídající dokument noisového konzervatismu. Je to počúvanie na krátký týždeň a dlhý víkend :) Prvá časť je tzv. "wall of noise", velmi vydarený kus. Najviac sa mi to približovalo k štýlu Incapacitants. Je to razantný kúsok, paradné vokály, škoda len, že ich tam bolo tak málo, mohlo tam byt viac. ;) Na to čo z vašej musix poznám je to asi najradikálnejší kus. Pri tomto songu nie je príliš čo riešit. Je to ako odraz kratkého pracovného týždňa ;) Druhý track je zaujmavý, viac menej tovarenský zvuk doplnený živšími zvukmi (udermi na kov atd..). Všetky hluky aj zmesi hlukov a zvukov su v zaujmavom vyvážení, od úderov (s klasickou ozvenou :) az po ucelenejšie zvukové tvary. Podstatná je plnosť zvukov. Pri takto dlhom tracku (mimochodom ja by som taký dlhý track nerobil, lebo si to vypocuješ raz a pri budúcich počúvaniach sa ku koncu hádam ani nedostaneš už nikdy ;)) je umenie udržat veci v rovnováhe, nenastáva tam žiadna "čierna minutka". Rád by som podotkol, že tento track aj ked je to v štýle industrial a určite nie je určený pre masy, vyžaduje pozorné počúvanie (t.j. dlhy vikend :)) co nebýva zvykom. Z industriálu som toho vela nepočul, takže porovnávať nemožem, ani nebuďem. Každý zvuk má svoje opodstatněnie, track má svoju strukturu, velmi dobrú formu, z ktorej sa nevybieha a obsah. Vytkol by som spomenutú dlžku tracku a miestami by som vynechal ozvenu, aj ked ta ozvena je asi "identifikácia" kapely. Miestami posobila rušivo. Celkovo dam tomuto albumu bez problemov 8/10. Je to živé, je to hravé, je cítit snahu o nezaraditelnost a vlastný sound kapely. Je to roznorodé, má to svoje chybičky (tažšie pochopitelný koncept), ale tak to má byť. 8 / 10 Josef Zábojník
