THE EVOLUTION OF THE MUTANT SPECIES v/a video __________________________________________________ SIX HOUR ONE WEEK #4 (Norway) This compilation comes in a very proffesional package with picture of a dead granny on front, and inside I found info cards from all artists. The content is noise/industrial artists and starts off with Norway's Dunkelheit, after an intro jingle with sounds and images by a German band called Anemone Tube. The Dunkelheit video is called "Lost Love". Track is accompained by airplanes dropping atom bombs. This video is extremely well done. Later on the video pops up another great video by an English band called Disumana Res; check this out. Ultra SM noise. One of the best noise video out there. Shrinkwrap is another case of good video editing. The video features granny lying and screaming "I've fallen... and I can't get up". I wonder if this video was put into video while editing? Next video that caught my attention was the Deep video. This German band is original in all good ways... very melancholic and moody music. On the video there is some live footage mixed with some old computer graphics. A bit boring, but with a great song like that, you don't FastForward. Dissecting Table also deserves special attention for their live footage of a track called "Slaughter Machine", great stuff. Some other descent videos featured are Maeror Tri, The Haters, Contagious Orgasm, Fear Movement, Seven Minutes Of Nausea. There is also two short movies by someone called Jeniger Film and extremely crappy home videos from The Earwigs, Pissed Off Orgasm and Minch. Get a life boys... If you're mission is to make people want to throw up then the videos are and music are very succesful. Also the Das Grosse Fressen video & music sucks. The "Evolution..." video compilation contains much boring and overall stuff, but you get a proffesional package and 140 minutes of video footage with some classic stuff... what are you waiting for? Get this in PAL/NTSC from Suggestion Records or Will-O-The-Wisp. Odd Qvam
