v/a LOFI OR DIE REX CD-R 2002 ____________________________________________________ IMPAIRED #9 (France)
This is a comp various artists done by this little totally underground devoted from UK. Done on CD-R this is a compilation of grind and noisecore bands beginning by ASS CAVECAL (don't know where they are from) with 4 or 5 songs of ultime harsh noise ultra saturated and very short. For specialists only. Then there are some other songs of another noisecore band (but I'm not sure of the name nor the origin) JET JAGUAR KR3 KILL SPREE. Completely in the same movment than ASS CAVECAL maybe apart from the fact that they haev used a machine bites for their compos. I'm less sure of the name of the third band, maybe SHINU MAZAFAKINGU USIMUSHI but very grind noise turned (more grind core than noise) and very oppressive, I don't know if there were any voice on it because the sound is quite weak but since the beginning of the cd the best band with a very metal sound and a usual grind construction's song method. HINYOUKI is then totally inot the experimental noise, with scratch, radio electronic sounds and hard dislocated cut in it. As if you were at the top of the world and you'd like to search 88.9 MHzr in France. Impossible to find it and only noise. Unlistenable. FAST FORWARD is chaos playing harsh noise with the same machines than HINGOUKI or they are bro, ahaha. The way they are using the beat box is more like techno DJ's in London, or like my sergent instructor when he tried to to make us learn the way to use a Gatling 12.7mm. MISO the following band is completely into the noises of the white shalk on the black board. There are vocals but unlistenable. Who cares... GRIND CORPS is playiing a kind o ultra gore grind noise with a drum machine, a lot of effects on the voice (that are good if the guys could use them with more parsimony. But until the beginning with SHINU MAZAFAKINGU USIMUSHI they are intresting, with guitar and bass, a structure, even if it is not original at all, it is a kind of pause on this noise underground cd. NEE, is far from it the best band ever on that kind of release. The band doesn't exist anymore according to me and they made some fucking great release especially the "Nee means No" CD. There are some guys here and there who are still writting some stuff about them. The sound is very good and the compos funny. NAPALMED, no use to present them, really. Apocalyptic noise. ACURA GRAMANCER, is pushing the limits of the harshing noisecore.MERMAID IN A MANHOLE, I didn't hear the difference with the band before, same comments for SWEET SOUNDS OF THE BURNING CHILD, but then came the band called SADISTIC LINGAM CULT, and this black noise band atmospheric is (or was at that time) the side project of the cum bro (understand: CATASEXUAL URGE MOTIVATION Tomoaki Kanai and I don't remember the name of the other bro). The sound is really better and the quality of the song too. Ending by only a drum alone part, the CD says Cya with K8 TEACZ SHIT DU FOKOP. Conclusion: for fucking knwoers and noise worshippers.
